While the place itself was clean, nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was fine (though limited to bread and Nutella, essentially) it wasn't really a "fun" place. There was no bar or really a common area that you would feel comfortable hanging out in. Also, the owner's son was pretty much constantly on the only public computer, which was super awkward. I don't want to have to ask his son to get off so I can book for next train ticket.

Sorry for the late reply! But I haven't forgotten about you! :) I loved staying at Sleephere. I met the coolest people there, and still keeping in touch with all of them. The man of the house was so friendly and so helpful! I would definitely stay there again. Enjoy the movie In Bruges i left behind. :) Xoxox

Wishing they could check the electric kettle in which there are so many particle. That should being come out from the kettle inside. It made my throat itch and cough. The house is very cozy and home like atmosphere.

Sleephere is in a beautiful old house in the middle of a Brussels neighborhood. Because of that the area around the hostel is very quiet, which is quite nice. But at the same time it is very easy to walk everywhere that you would want to see. If you want to be a little bit lazy, there is a Metro stop a 5-10 min walk away. The hostel was very clean and the breakfast was very nice.

Great hostel, easily the best hostel I've stayed at in Europe so far. Most comfortable bed during my trip, even better than the hotel beds I had in Paris. The owner is very friendly, personable, and helpful, all that you could want from a hostel plus more! Bonus: he lent me a towel free of charge for my stay! Would have been nice to have some lockers to store stuff, and the bathroom could use a little renovation (starting to show its age). But an enjoyable stay and I will definitely be back!

This is by far the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. It is more expensive than your average hostel but it is not your average hostel. The rooms are simple, clean, tidy and warm. The style and design of the house is Ta pleasure to be around. The big friendly dog that welcomes you at the door!! The clean and bright kitchen is an excellent place to meet and chat comfortably with other visitors. Karel is an excellent host, at ease and friendly with everyone.

This was my second stay at Sleephere and it was equally as brilliant as the first. Karel runs a very clean, friendly and comfortable place where the guests can feel very much at home. There is free tea and coffee at all times and a very nice breakfast on offer. If you need a calm and relaxing base of operations in Brussels I would recommend this place.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed; given that this is a hostel it is doubly amazing. It is totally worth the extra cost. The staff is amazing, the beds were unbelievable, the breakfast is great, and it is a comfortable, spacious stay. There is no where I would recommend over this, even though it's a minor walk into the main town.

This hostel is very nice, the more "classy" Ive ever stayed in. The owner is very cool and his assitant too. They are very helpfull and they will lend you books about the town. The hostel itself is very clean and you feel like you live in someone's home. The piano and the dog are also very nice.

Excellent place to stay if you are planning to visit brussels. The owner is very helpful giving you maps and all the information you need to know about the city. The vibe is awesome, is more like a bed and breakfast, but the vibe is even better than in a hostel. The beds could not be better and there is cleaning service every day so everything is shining. I had an incredible time there and would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

The owner was really friendly to everyone that I saw who lived in this hostel, and he really would like to help travelers if you have any problem, or give good advices for visit Brussels. The room was pretty nice, big and pretty and clean, the bed was comfortable and warm. Toilet and bathroom were nice, too. I have a really nice experience in this hostel and I would love to visit this place again:D
