Good location, helpful and friendly owner. It's a quiet place, and If you need good rest you'll have it.I slept like a baby. There are no problems with hot water, though there is one bathroom upstairs,so you may wait a little.I didn't but I've been the one who occupied it for longer.Breakfast was OK,I tried it once only,as I slept too long.I prefer to eat out anyway, and I really liked belgian food.

Awesome place to stay. It's bit far away from the attractions but within walking distance. The only thing could be improved is the breakfast, but anyway it's one of the hostels I've stayed.

Would be good if you could lock the bedroom door when you leave, in other words. Everyone should have a key to their room so it can be locked when noone is there. But very secure otherwise with code to get in to the main entrance.

Dear Hanna, Thanks for your feed-back. May I remind you could always give me any valuables to be put away safely. I am sorry you didn't asked me to do so. Security seems to be your only point of focus. What about the other aspects of your stay at Sleephere? Could you be more balanced in your feed-back? Thanks in advance, Karel

Enjoyed my stay here! Will definitely stay at Sleephere again whenever I'm in Brussels!

Great B&B. The owner is very nice and helpful, it almost makes you feel at home. The rooms are clean and spacious. Its not very close to the city center, but within walking distance (5 - 10 min) there is a metro station that gets you very quick, although Brussels is not a very large city (the tourist sights). If i go back to Brussels I will definetly stay here again.

Karel is a very nice host, always kind and pleasant. The only thing that looked weird to me was the lack of any kind of locker. But everything was fine in the end. Oh, metro line is quite far from the house either...consider that, in case you mind to have quite a walk to reach it!

The hostel was very comfortable and spacious! It had a really nice atmosphere, and ended up being a great place to celebrate Christmas away from home. Also, Karl, the manager, is very helpful and his tips and recommendations turned out to be really awesome!

This was without a doubt one of the best hostel stays I've ever had. It was more expensive than most hostels I've stayed at but it was worth it. The owner is extremely nice and gracious. He gave us a personalized "orientation" when we got there--telling us what we could do depending on our interests. I was there over Christmas and he hosted a Christmas meal with all of the hostel guests.

This was an amazing place to stay! It's more of a bed and breakfast than a hostel (though cheaper than most bed and breakfasts), the living room, kitchen, computer, etc.. are at your disposal and it's really easy to gather somewhere to chat with the other guests. I stayed there on Christmas Eve and we the host organized a great, enjoyable evening. The rooms are comfortable, the house is beautiful, and there is a dog as well! Breakfast could've had some meat/cheese, but otherwise it was great!

Stayed here for Christmas and it was the best choice I've made in a long time. So comfortable, I felt at home the entire time. Karel, the wonderful man that owns the house, even made a Christmas dinner for people that have no where to go. Stay here if in Brussels!

Excellent hostel! The owner and his dog were the nicest people you will meet in your trip to Belgium. He is very helpful and gives you a full tour on spots you need to go see. He encourages everyone to sit down and have breakfast together and you get to know everyone! Go to this hostel.....you will not regret it!

This is a great hostel! Karl is wonderful, friendly and helpful. The whole hostel has a wonderfully relaxed vibe. It is not in the old town but VERY easy to reach and everything is easily walkable, with a tram near by for the end of the day when your feet are sore from sight seeing : ) Karl made us all pancakes for breakfast and he went out of his way to introduce the guests to each other and make everyone feel at home. My only suggestion for improvement would be individual lockers in the dorms.

Angel, Thanks so much for your comment. Maybe it is useful to specify that we are based right next to the historic center, within 5/10 minutes walk to enter the historic center and about 20 minutes to the central square in the old town.

Out of all hostels I've stayed at, Sleephere was by far my favourite. The reception was great and I really felt like I was at home. Breakfasts were always something worth looking forward to and the owner and his dog always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. There was also plenty of legroom and the hostel was not too far from the station or city making it easy to get around. Would definitely stay here again!
