No locks on the dorm room doors??? That's just bizarre, not to mention really unsafe. The triple-bunk rooms were a little odd, but not too bad. They had an industrial feel, though, which added to the uneasiness that I felt without locks on the doors. There were two unisex toilets, one female toilet, and one male toilet, for the whole hostel. Not the brightest there. No locks on the dorm room doors??? That's just bizarre, not to mention really unsafe. The triple-bunk rooms were a little odd, but not too bad. I appreciate that staff was friendly. But noise level was not monitored; no sign reminding people to be quiet or a door seperating the lounge from the dorms. Guests were noisy late into the night. The rooms were cramped. I do not mind staying with a few guys in a mixed dorm but I ended up being the only female in a room with 8 other guys (while the room next door contained all females and 1 guy). The location is a little out of the way. I appreciate that staff was friendly. But noise level was not monitored; no sign reminding people to be quiet or a door seperating the lounge from the dorms. Good common area, like an old warehouse. When you call the place 'Sleeping in Heaven' though people wouldn't expect being crammed into a Nelson Mandela's jailcell size room with the 6 of them. The beds are a bit small as well. Not too uncomfortable though (especially after exploring Copenhagens nightlife). The showers will get hot when hell freezes over. We had to catch a ten minute bus to and from the hostel. The hostel is quite homely. The dorms are pretty bad, we were in the 9 bed dorm and its triple bunks, so quite small and the matresses were gross... Internet connection was bad, and cold showers, even at 8am. The staff however were lovely and had a lot of info about the town. Fine to stay if you are just sleeping...We had to catch a ten minute bus to and from the hostel. The hostel is quite homely.
