This is definitely the best hostel I ever stayed! The owner and staff are so very helpful and warm-hearted and the atmosphere of the whole hostel just can't be better. It's the first time I felt really reluctant to leave a hostel. I will definitely choose the same place next time in Hualien:)

The two staff/owner, Paul and Fong, were very helpful in giving us tips on where/how to go. They also gone the extra mile in helping to arrange transport for a group of us, with a customized itinerary. Both of them are very friendly, which makes our stay in Sleeping Boot a very nice experience. Thank you very much!

Definitely the best hostel I have ever lived! Paul and Fong Chit are so nice! They gave me a map of famous delicacy in Hualien and introduced them in detail. They even took me and other guests out for dinner! We had so much fun. Every night almost all the guests would gather in the living room and talk. We became very good friends! And it is veeeeeeery clean as well! The hostel makes me love Hualien more! It's an impressive experience!

This hostel was really nice. Really nice staff. For good price. It's good location in this city, but it's a little hard to find it.

Bed was comfy, bathroom and shower clean and the lounge area cozy. On the morning of my departure the host advised me to take an earlier train to Taipei because of full train seat booking and offered me very tasty instant coffee which made the rush to the train station that much nicer. He also gave me advice on visiting Taroko Gorge. Overall I was very pleased and would definitely stay again! The location isn't exactly next to the train station but fortunately very good directions were provided.

The staff here are a really lovely bunch. It's nice that they introduce the travellers to each other as I was travelling on my own. The hostel itself is cute and clean. I stayed in a single room which had everything I needed.

Great hostel. Fong is the man and very helpful. The only negative I had was the no drinking policy, everything else was exellent, beds comfy, sep showers and toilets, good location.

I would really like to thank the staff and all the helpers in Sleeping Boot because they were all so friendly and helpful that made me feel like at home and they were like my old pals! Just one small advice: it would be more convenient for the customers if hand washiing liquid were to be provided at the side of basins.

The staff is very nice and always try to offer their helps. They even offer me foods and drinks. I like the atmosphere of this hostel and it's look new and very clean. For security, they provide room lock and a locker for valuable things. For suggestion, i think it'll be nice if they provide washing machine and dryer for their guest.

Staff are so nice, the private room I stayed is just what I want or I can say perfect single room as a backpacker, you will see how professional the boss/owner is, even when you asking him a shuttle train's schedule, and he does know other regions in east TW preaty well.

staffs are very helpful and hospitable. I love when they introduce us with other guests, it breaks the ice. Fong also did treat us a local dish, chicken or duck meat. Another staff (sorry, I forgot his name), which is from Taichung, even telling me a lot of places to eat and sightseeing around the hostel. He even explained a lot of places to go in Taichung, as it's my next trip. Thanks, and will definitely come and stay there again.
