Introducing Surfers Paradise’s best hostel…the multi-award-winning (2010, 2011, 2012) Sleeping Inn Backpackers’ Hostel.
We have so much free stuf...free Wi-Fi, free Subway Ripper cards, free unique pick-up, free use of the BBQ, free boogie boards, free nightclub entry and free use of the Xbox!! We’re a BYO hostel.
Best of all, we’re the only backpackers to have a special Nandos backpackers card...it’s Peri Peri exciting...

Our newly renovated hostel has a brand-new cinema room, a games room, pool room and more.
Sleeping Inn Backpackers is apartment-style living at its best. If you want clean, comfortable dormitories, single, twin, double or triple rooms (many ensuite), we have it all! Every apartment contains a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, shower and separate living room. All our rooms are fully self-contained apartments so – yes - you have your own TV, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, breakfast bar, toilet and shower. Dorm rooms vary in size from two to eight people; whatever takes your fancy.
If you like activities there’s always something happening around here. Our tour desk sells fantastic tours from surfing, bike hire, theme parks and more - the list is never-ending!
If you’re looking to book your amazing East Coast adventure or more look no further! We are experts on Fraser Island, The Whitsundays, Outback adventures and much more.
Every night of the week there’s something going on around the hostel, such as our famous Dive-Inn Movies, $5 all-you-can-eat poolside BBQ, $7 all-you-can-eat Dominos pizza, FIFA Sunday, footie on the beach, the Backpackers’ Big Night Out Club Crawl on Wednesdays and Saturdays and much, much more...what more could a backpacker ask for?!
We’re located no more than five minutes’ walk to central Surfers Paradise, with such sights as the famous Q1 observation deck, Surfers’ amazing sandy beach, night markets, cabaret shows and so many restaurants, shops and nightclubs that you’ll never get bored.
Plus the free limousine pick-up from the Greyhound, Premier and Oz Experience bus stop is definitely a unique experience.

All guests must present an international passport or international driving licence upon check-in. We are unable to take Schoolies.

Latest Review
A good hostel if you're young and want to party. Not a good hostel if you value cleanliness and quiet. The Wi-Fi doesn't really work and computers available (for additional cost) are very slow. Slept in a six bed dorm, which was supposed to have an ensuite bathroom, but in reality was shared with two other rooms. Bed and mattress rather old. The staff was nice. If you're looking for a place to meet other party people and go out clubbing, come here. At the age of 24, I felt a little out of place.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Please note you will not be able to check in or check out on 25th December 2012 or 1st January 2013.
We have a 48hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation. Deposits paid are non-refundable.
