I was upgraded to a double room for free as I was not feeling great! It was so nice big double bed, my own bathroom and a big telly area so was great to recover in. I stayed a few extra nights to get better and asked if they needed me to move they where so nice and didnt charge me extra they just wanted to make sure I was feeling better seriously lovely people!!

The hostel was like being back at home! I shared with 3 other people and we had a 4 bed dorm and the a seperate living room, kitchen and bathroom I have never seen anything like it and it was great! They needed some more pots and pans but thats the only thing. Staff are unreal they are so helpful and nice some a little crazy ha !but in a good way was alot of fun here.

I really enjoyed the hostel. The staff were friendly and they took us out to a different nightclub every night. I like the fact that there was a kitchen in every room and not a communal one with opening hours. Their couch in the TV room was also very cosy!!

Rooms cleaned daily which is good, but absolutely no security with doors and windows left open (no lockers either). FYI, the radio is turned on loudly at 9am.

I thought the hostel was dirty. The 'limo' that I was picked up from the bus in smelt of sick & set a bad first impression. The rooms were dirty & everywhere smelt damp. I would not recommend anyone to stay there, the shower was so dirty that I chose not to shower to avoid catching anything!

Generally ok, apart from some noisy neighbours and the linen not fitting the bed.

The lack of a fan or air conditioning in our small 4 bed room made it impossible to sleep and this was a main problem staying here. The staff were friendly but when we brought up our problem nothing was done. The self contained kitchens and living rooms with tvs are good but there is not much of a communal area to eat or drink in the evenings.

The hostel is very very good located just 300 metres from the transit centre and around 800metres from the beach. So you can reach central Surfers Paradise in 5-10 minutes by foot. The hostel is perfect for partying. The staff is going out with you and you get special deals, free entrance and sometimes free drinks. The only negative thing was, that our shower had just have a shower curtain. So the bathroom was always wet and a little bit of water always came into the kitchen/living room as well

TV in the room didnt work properly, the images where in black and white. The exterior gate should be locked earlier as non-guests tried to access the rooms.
