unfortunately the owner and his wife spoke very little to no english. But they tried in every way to help us. BF was included, they made it up lovely. 1 downpoint: noises from karakoe bars and bars from the distance disturbing until midnight,

SleepyInn is like visiting good old friends, who take care of you in a very, very friendly way. It's a very good location for families, who travel with children. The rooms are very clean, the beds warm and cozy. Great food, too. For us it was one of the best stays in China and we'll definitely be back. Xie, xie for a very relaxing holiday!

The staff was very helpful -even if they spoke almost no english at all. They helped arrange our transportation and itinerary during our stay in Lijiang. They also cooked a sumptuous meal for our group at a very low price of CNY20/head. The beds were probably the best I've stayed in in all hotels/hostels I've been in China. Only downside is that the bathroom has no door -only a small curtain separates it from the bedroom. Despite this, I'd still recommend this place.

The location is very good in Shuhe wich is much more quite and nice than Lijiang old town. The rooms and bed and cover were incredible soft and equipped with electric blanket and heater. The Aiyi, part from not being able to speak english, was the most helpful and careful lady I've ever met after several years in China. When a foreign couple had plans to go for a trip, she followed to the bus station, helped by the tickets and even got on the bus trying to arrange them to sit together....
