Nice hostel with beautiful traditional rooms. Very clean and tidy. Amanda was very friendly and helpful (and seems to be keen on getting good points ;-) ). If you are not familiar with the area, note that this hostel is in Suhe old town, not in Lijiang old town, which makes it a bit more authentic and probably quiet. Beds had electrical blankets, which make the cold nights (end of November) a bit less cold. Would stay here again.Nice hostel with beautiful traditional rooms. Very clean and tidy. I was traveling by myself, but I felt really secured when I was staying there. Staffs are excellent! Room is clean and exotic atomosphere. Since I liked Shuhe rather than Liliang old town, the location was perfect. If you like the idea of Lijiang without the crazy crowds, then go to Shuhe. The Sleepy Inn is a more expensive than other hostels, but you get what you pay for. Crisp white linen and seriously comfortable beds meant that we had our best night's sleep in China. Amanda and the girls are really helpful and sights and hiking/biking options are all nearby. We loved this hostel! Staff (Amanda) is very helpful. She gave us lots of information. We planned to stay here for 2 nights but ended up 4. The beds are like heaven! And so clean. Other big plus: free laundry. Hostel is located in Shuhe old town, which we liked better tha Lijang old town. We rented a bike in hostel to visit the more crowded Lijang. This is an excellent hotel in a great quiet location. I would go back to this hotel if I were to stay in Shu He again. They were very helpful to us and I love this little town the scenery was beautiful and the hotel had a modern bathroom (western style) and comfortable bed with heated blanket.This is an excellent hotel in a great quiet location. Can\'t say much more than EXCELLENT! Great location in Suche Old town, just 5 mins by taxi north of Lijiang old town (much more relaxed & quiet).
