The staff there is really helpful in many ways, no matter what your question is. Great atmosphere and clean, great place to know new ppl though a bit far from central station

for a large mega hostel, it was pretty good. the staff are excellent, and eveything is super clean.

I arrived early and they went out of their way to get me my bed early!

They've changed address 1 year ago, but in italian Hostelworld page there was the old one...

Friendly and helpful personnel.

The hostel was in a great location, within easy walking distance of the train station and the town centre. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable enough, though the pillows were quite flat. The main problem we had was that our room, which faced onto the main road, had very thin curtains, which didn't block out the light very well and made it hard to sleep. It is very competitively priced though, so can't fault it for value for money.

This hostel had all the basics for a comfortable stay but really lacked extras to make it at all memorable - dull furnishings, no common room, overpriced breakfast, didn't even have soap in the bathrooms. Very little atmosphere and no real way to meet other travellers.

great hostel

Great location, value for money, breakfast was only €3.50 and was well worth it. Very secure hostel, clean, modern and our 2 beds in a 10 bed dorm were comfy and safe.

Odd directions given to the hostel. Don't bother with the tram as its a very short walk away, and you cannot see the hostel from the stop. Apart from that, it was really clean and spacious. Nice staff and great facilites. Perfect if you want to have a good nights sleep. Not so much of a party hostel, but would recommend it.

Sleepy Lion is a very clean hostel but the door card sometimes can not function very well .I only stay there for one night and I went back at around 4:00 in the morning. When I took a shower I found the water is not warm enough. It was cold !! Besides this, everything is good.

Close to the city center (and Hauptbanhof), very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious. I think fee for the linen should not be charged. Poor breakfest for 3,50 EUR.

hostel ha excellent location - very close to the center. the building is old and beautiful, rooms are clean big new. Stuff is very friendly and helpfull.

the value for money ist excellent and the staff was very friendly and supportive! The only thing which is missing (not only me also other guests) is a cozy common room!

We had a fantastic Christmas in Leipzig and our stay in the Sleepy Lion was perfect. The location couldn't be better. We will definitely be back.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were very helpful. I really liked the cartoons/pictures painted on the walls. It was very artistic and created a cheerful atmosphere! Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hostel. However, directions to the hostel could be improved, because it is not very detailed, and we were confused when looking for the hostel.

A very nice, new, clean and rather big hostel on a good location close to both city center and station, but in a quiet street a bit outside of the central chaos. Our room, a 10 p. dorm, consisted actually of three rooms and was very spacious. Perfect hostel for short city trips!
