Nice hostel, overall was good. The main room although described as 8 bed is more like 16 with small dividing wall and private rooms with part walls around, unfortuatly there was a rather loud american in a private room one night who shared her life with everyone. If they had lockers woul be better. Overall would recomend to stay hereNice hostel, overall was good. The bathrooms and toilets were not very clean. The bed looked like someone has just slept in it - I am not fussy at all but I really hated to pull the sheet over my body.....Otherwise very friendly staff and lovely location. I think the service in the hostel was great, service was nice, showers were clean etc. They only negative thing I can mention is that for me it would have been better if the rooms were a little less 'open'. I was sleeping on the top of a bunk bed and light from the other dormoitory was shinging straight into my face. So so friendly, and very homely. Was lovely being called for breakfast in the morning- like being back at home. A great location, and clean hostel with loads of character. Located in a picturesque district, it's well-connected with the rest of the city through Bugis MRT station. The staff is very helpful and friendly, internet is free and the breakfast is satisfying. Don't expect the 8-bed dorm to be quite that. The dorm-area upstairs is largely open, with one central wall and curtains to provide some privacy. The doors between the rooms and the dorm are paper-thin (which gave me some unwanted insight in the sex-life of fellow guests).
