shower didn't have hot water, besides that, decent value, friendly staff, good location

Staff are very friendly & helpfull. However I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it due to the fact we couldn't sleep at all because of people shouting, kicking & banging on the doors, & fighting in the hall all night! I understand that how people behave is out of your control but absolutely nobody came to even ask them to be quiet! It's a shame really because otherwise it was a nice place in a great location!

The only thing I thought was missing was a little more discipline about noise! We got woken up at 1 AM by other people walking up or down the stairs and speaking aloud. Maybe a sign that says "keep quiet from ... to ..." would arrange that!

I really thought this place was awesome!! No complaints at all. The staff are really friendly, you had access to all areas, being the kitchen, lounge, tv room. I picked up a really good vibe as soon as I walked in the door and started talking with the staff. There were a few hick-ups with general maintenance, but that still didn't deter my opinion of them. If I come back to Galway I will definitely be staying here again!!!

A friend and I stayed at the sleepzone hostel for one night. It was awesome! We got in touch with a few other guests and the staff was always friendly and helpful. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and I really recommend the hostel. Great staff! Great people! Great Hostel! Lisa and Joana

Good place, right in city center, there is nothing to complain

I applaud the staff of Sleepzone, esp Joanna and Farida, the staff are very friendly and more than helpful for my big group. The security and cleanliness of the hostel is top notch. I only wish there are more vending machines available in the facilities that provide healthier choice of beverage and snacks.. The kitchen is closed at 10am, which I find early considering the amount of people staying, but they allow people to keep using it for normal beverage making and breakfast. Recommended to all

When I arrived at Galway bus station, I cannot find this hostel because there is no direction board on the road. After asking 10 people (it is true!!!), I finally reached there. The room was so clean and I love it. The location is good and took me 5 min to walk to the city center.

Sleepzone Hostel Galway is the best hostel i´ve ever been to. The Staff is amazing (love you guys :D), everybody is so friendly and they helped us a lot. This hostel has everything you need and it´s so clean and cheap. We met a lot interesting people here and had a really good time. thank you for everything :) it was great! i will definitely come back!

lovely staff-incredibly helpful esp the guy at front desk. gave me a free cappuccino! the only thing i d complain about was the shower was cold. i would stay again though just because staff were so nice. Also a lovely french girl and irish girl with blonde hair were very nice as i checked out.

This is an alcohol free hostel!!!! If this had been stated more clearly I would not have stayed here. The manager is very strict about it too. When he came over and told us it was a dry hostel, he said it was alright for us to finish our open beer. He came back about 10 minutes later and had another go at us, because we hadn't put the bottles in the bin yet, and he tried to confiscate my unopened beers. He was hostile, arrogant and rude, and handled the situation very poorly. Don't stay here.

The hostel is very easy to find even if you don't know the town at all (just follow the excellent hostel directions from Eyre Square). It was VERY clean and had a great kitchen area, free internet access & VERY helpful staff. They also let me leave my luggage there for the afternoon after I had checked out (sth other hostels charge money for!) Had the bed been just a little longer, it would have been perfect (good mattresses though!) :-)
