Not enough plug sockets in the bedrooms. Or they are far too high in the wall to use.

The hostel was great, small so you could get to know people, in a good location. The kitchen was large and easily accessible. The only downsides: no wifi upstairs in the bedrooms and no locker storage in the bedrooms. But there is locker storage downstairs and the staff is very friendly.

I loved this hostel! It is great location, clean rooms, lovely kitchen and the staff is really amazing. They really go extra mile to make your stay special. Firstly thanks to Casey who helped me out with my holiday planning and arranging that I could go on a special tour and secondly to Donna, who was helping me out with additional bookings. Also they gave me a good info on pubs and what to do around. As they say, people are the one who make you feel good at place :) Highly appreciated!

What a disappointment when we found out this hostel wasnt what we expected. We were 2couples in a 6-bed room, but we preferred sleeping in twos in the bed, & we took the "spare" duvet. At 12 we were fast asleep as we were going to get up quite early the next day. What a surprise when at 2 am a member of the staff woke us up to shout us we coudnt use more duvets. He was coming with 2 other guests, and apparentely none of them realized there were 4 in 2 beds. I dont think I'll ever come back.

Fantastic Hostel - great location and great facilities in the kitchen - although it was quite busy at mealtimes. Rooms were well heated and clean when we arrived and shower facilities were perfect.

This hostel is in an excellent location, it's super clean and extremely comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and only too happy to help in any way. I really enjoyed my stay here and if I go back to Galway I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Really cool locker system where you can lock up your belongings safely. The staff was also pretty helpful and friendly, and overall it was a nice quiet place to sleep. My only big complaint was that it was hard to regulate the heat in our room and we were all freezing then sweating!

All in all, an excellent experience! Extremely friendly staff, good music playing in the common room area, the kitchen and common rooms are modern furnished and very clean. The hostel is perfectly located, you are in the city center within few minutes walk. The only manko: there was no heater in the room, so it was pretty cold!

Sadly the laundry was not working and we had to go to a laundry outside the hostel which cost us 10€... It's quite expensive for an hostel without breakfast included.

The staff was especially friendly, I loved staying here... I'd stay again! Kind of disappointed that there is no breakfast, that this hostel's major setback but great location and place to visit!

We loved this hostel! However, a homeless man stole our food when we were cooking dinner in the kitchen :|

It's a wonderful place to stay. Quite big, seems a bit more like a hotel then a hostel. They have great facilities, especially kitchen and dining area. Rooms are very clean, furniture seems pretty new. Plus, the bus going to the Cliffs of Moher has a stop directly in front of the hostel. Great location, basically in the centre. And an amazing and very helpful staff. This might be the best hostel I've ever stayed in.

It was so great and appreciative! Thanks for all the security, help, advice and effort and for keeping my luggage safe, unless I was already checked out. Your kitchen was amazing and the rooms so clean! I will recommend you to my friends. Julia

29 euros for a bed in a 5 bed mixed room (not ensuite) is quite expensive. Breakfast was provided, but only for "groups". We were only 2 people, so not considered as a group, so we could just watch other people enjoy some breakfast. I just didn't get that. The location of the hostel is very good, Not in the center of Galway, but just 5 minutes by walk, so it's quite. Staff was friendly.

Me and my boyfriend were looking for good and cheap accommodation for one night and found Sleepzone in the city centre. Very well located, gives the possibility to reach the busy life of Galway just by walking. The staff is great and the kitchen is awesome! We just decided for one night more (this time in a mixed 6 bed dorm). In opposite of all hostels I've already been to, this one has a free food section and milk, coffee, tea and bread also for free! Loved it! I Highly recomend Sleepzone.
