It seems a little strange that you should have to pay a deposit for the keys and towels (which were rather shabby and not worth $5 deposit). However, overall I found the atmosphere congenial and relaxed. I was a little disappointed that the taxi booked for 6am in the morning didn't turn up as I had a 8am flight to catch! I also feel if the hotel is using hostelworld to make bookings on their behalf then they should check if bookings have been made as my deposit was not deducted from the bill.
