Very basic but a good place to rest your head in central London. Don't expect luxury and comfort for £7 a night. Excellent price for the location and the fact that its London! Friendly cleaners keeping the hostel clean all day and one piece of advice, in this hostel your not going to get cold in the middle of winter!

Very small rooms!, everything should be a little cleaner y and a have more toilets and showers. The location is good, a few steps from Candem Market. Key deposit 10 pounds what I find to be TOO MUCH!

Make sure you tell your guests about extra costs, for example if you want to pay with card instead of cash.. Also the 10 pound cash deposit - we arrived late and was met by a pretty cocky receptionist who told us to go to an atm for the deposit and not until we came back she told us that we have to pay extra if we wanted to pay with our visa card. Kinda ruined our mood the first night.

Room flooded when we arrived. No hot water. Over-priced. Plastic covers on beds. Charged £5 for towel. Overall, not very welcoming or pleasant - seemed to be a money making enterprise with no real consideration for quality of experience. If you can possibly afford to stay anywhere else, I'd recommend that you do.

We stayed at Smart Camden Inn for 1 day, and payed a 10 Pound that we were told we would get back the next day when we checked out, nobody said anything about check-out time, and on all the places where you can book the hostel it says: "NO lock-out times or curfews" then we checked out 5 pm, they told us that we couldnt get back our 10x2 pound! because we didnt check out before 10 am?? NO Lock-out time?? what the BIIP? they stole 20 pounds actually!

This hstel is very small with thin maze like stairways. Mixed showers with flimsy curtains. There were building works going on when we atayed which didnt help, perhaps it will be nicer when these are completed...

My stay there was ok. The people I shared with were very noisy but it was not a problem for me. This place is good for spending a couple of nights, maybe a long weekend but not more. In the other hand it is in the heart of Camden, so the situation is excellent.

Hostel was pretty filthy. Not much maintenance or cleanliness...pretty important to any hostel. Location is good though...however not worth the money at all. If you can find another place go there.

I stayed at the Hostel for 2 nights. Overall I found my stay comfortable. Things I didn't like: The breakfast was just toast with jam and cornflakes, the showers were small and not enough changing space, and although the location is great if you have the window open it's noisy as there it's on a busy road & you have to pay to get internet! Good things: The showers were separate, staff were nice, location is 5 mins away from Camden market and plenty of restaurants to go eat! Overall 3 1/2 Stars

The lack of a common area is a major drawback. Overall is a clean, average place, good for a weekend night, since the location is excellent, but I would not recommend it for a longer stay. The price was also too high for what you really got.

The greatest thing about this hostel is it's location. Five minutes walk to the very center of Camden - can't really get any better :) I've stayed in mixed dorm just for one night after gig in Roundhouse and it was nice not having to worry about last train home, and even have a hot shower. Showers were mixed, small, but usable... Breakfast was good, usual cereals, milk and toast with jam. If you are looking for cheap short stay accommodation in the heart of Camden, go for it.

Good location but not-so-new hostel. Small rooms and really small showers. Would recommend only if your budget is tight.

Great hostel especially the location is very good. However we were hoping for more kindess from the staff, especially from the night yard because we checked in a little late. The given information was rather poor or even wrong. But in total we liked the hostel and will defenitly come back!
