This hostel seemed dirty from the moment we walked in, and I was not expecting much to begin with. The bathrooms were disgusting. Our beds were next to a sink that leaked all night, creating a pool of water around it. The comforters are not washed. They use every inch of space to fit more beds. You have to pay from your locker every night.

Well, the hostel (actually is a guesthouse, not a real hostel) is located in a "weird place", Chunking Mansions, that could be a little bit scaring..when looking for it you must be ready to pass throug a kind of old shopping mall where many persons will try to convince you to choose their guest house.. The guesthouse is located at the 10th floor of the building, the rooms are quite small and there are not windows..but it is very clean, mattress are new and internet works ;)

The staff were helpful and breakfast was included. The location was good and very close to the subway. It's a pity it doesn't have a lift, since we were on the top floor and we had to carry all our luggage through the stairs (same problem with the subway station of Bayswater).

The hostel was nice it's located away from the center of London and across from Hyde Park which was cool. The rooms were small - size of a closet and you had to pay for the lockers. Common room was nice and there was a great kitchen area. The wifi only worked around the common rooms and reception area - which didn't have a lot of room. There were only one or two showers/toilets on each floor, but they were really clean. The staff were extremely helpful

I dont expect so much for that price in expensive London but this is first hostel that I am real surprised - nice friendly staff who want to help me with everything, clean dorms, safe place and good location near the street where is many cheap place to eat and metro station. Breakfest simple but is ok for me and even in dorms you have little privacy. I recommended this place, I am often in London and i will be choose that hostel.

You get what you paid for. It's not easy to find an accomodation that cheap in London. Anything extra (towles, lockers) is extra payment. We stayed at a 16 pers. dorm with only one little window. The air in there was smelly and very humid. There was mold. However the beds themselves were clean and even had curtains. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful and did everything to make the stay there as pleasant as possible. Simple, but sufficient breakfast. Only british sockets (bring an adapter).

This hostel is alright but not more than that. I dont think I would stay here again because there are other hostels in London for the same price which i believe are better. The bed is pretty comfy which i would say is the biggest plus. The kitchen is not good. I had a hard time even to find a knife to prepare a sandwhich. Showers are alright (warm and enough water) but there's not a drapery or anything in the shower so when you dress the whole floor will be wet. Location is avergae.

Messy place, cold rooms, no heating. Felt like the staff didn't concentrate on one person at a time but left you hanging. They were far more interested in with their mates around. The dorm where I stayed in had a broken window so the whole room was freezing and I had to sleep with my coat on. Toilets were nasty. Only good thing about this place was the beautiful neighborhood and it's location.

Nothing special to say about this stuffy hostel if it is a good situation in the centre of London. Stay a good solution for short term hosting.

The rooms were wayyy too cramped, and there was not enough room for all the luggage for the amount of people in the room. Other than that, it was ok.

This hostel was very disgusting.20 people stuffed into a room that was connected to the toilets. No fresh air. WIndow was as big as a cracker. At night it got so hot that my candy bars all melted. It felt like I was suffocating from lack of fresh air. The showers were horrible. Everything is smelly. The service is not very good at all. The location is in a boring part of the city. Eventhough this place is very cheap, it is not worth it. Pay a few extra £ and go to a different hostel!!!

It was quite dirty and cramped. Wouldn't recommend it at all. Too many beds and people for the space they have. Triple bunks with no lockers (charged per day for lockers and still didnt recommend us use them!), slept with my bag on my bed as there wasnt room to put it on the floor!

Great location, very close to an underground. Clean and very quiet. The bedrooms and bathroons are very small, but it's ok, considering it's a very old building. The beds have curtains, what is excellent to have privacy during the night. The problems were that the hostel charges for any service, like store the suitcase after check out or use the plug adapter, and the WiFi was not working during the weekend I was there.

The rooms were quite tight (only a narrow walkway between the sets of bunkbeds). It was annoying that you had to pay extra for the locker and to store you luggage before or after checking out. When I was there the internet wasn't working which was quite frustrating. Breakfast was just toast with butter or jelly. Otherwise it was a decent hostel for the price. It would be good for shorter stays but quite cramped for a longer stay.
