Nice place, in a good location close to Hyde Park and underground stations. The rooms where a bit small, but perfect for one or two nights.

Sweet room and nice personnel but a useless breakfast.

We stayed in a double room. it was very small, but clean and had everything you need. Staff was OK. We didn't try the breakfast as we always overslept it. Location is great, near 3 tube stations and also 4 or 5 buses stop there. In two minutes you're at hyde park/kensington gardens. The only negative thing: when it was cold outside, it was freezing inside, as the window really wasn't airtight. And the heater didn't work. But there was a woolen blanket in the cupboard.

This place is in a pretty good location in terms of the tube but isn't super great. The staff was pretty friendly but the breakfast wasn't anything special and for the price it isn't anything extraordinary.

It's by far one of the smartest and most secure places you can stay on a tiny budget. Helpful staff as well!

This is the first hostel that I've stayed in where the staff were not very friendly. It's not a hostel to meet people in, so don't come here alone. It was not worth the money.

It was horrible! We showed up an hour late because our flight was delayed and our room still wasn't clean from the precious guests! We were forced to check our bags in the luggage room so the staff could clean and they made us pay for luggage check when it was their fault! When we walked into the room there was food and trash everywhere and it was disgusting. The beds were gross, poorly structured, and the bathroom was dirty. Paper thin walls and shotty Internet that sometimes didn't work at all

I had really bad time in this hostel, we were supposed to arrive around 10, we got there at 11 and the room we were staying it was so durty, food on the floor, horrible. Breakfast for who is at this hostel is horrible, downstairs and i guess for who pays the private one the breafast its in another place, so much better. they should at least make this clear before.

Very handy for Paddington station

Wouldn't recommend it at all. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm and the room was so small I felt slightly claustrophobic, plus it was extremely cold and humid. There was no space enough for anyone's baggage and lockers provided came for an extra £1.50 a night. Poor breakfast (cereals and toasts only), £2/luggage to leave it in the luggage room and no wi-fi at 4th floor.

We had a double room in the third floor. It was separate from the dorms, so it was quiet and the view to the little street was nice. The room was small but ok for a few days, and it was freshly renovated, so we felt very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and very clean. The breakfast area was ok, but a bit basic, also the breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The location is good, Bayswater is a nice multicultural area with good restaurants. There are busses and subway stations close by.

Really didn't enjoy my stay here. staff were ok but could have been a lot more friendly. Also they charge you a £10 deposit on arrival which isn't stated when you book and it has to be in cash. They then charge you to use your credit card. The room I was staying in was a 6 bed female dorm there was hardly any room to store bags or for more then 3 people to be standing around at once. The bathroom was dirty and the toilet hardly ever flushed.

We had a rather unfortunate start for our stay because in our first room, both the beds were full of bedbugs... However, the staff was really great, they didn't argue with our complaint at all and gave us another room immediately. In the second room, everything was OK. At the time of booking, I didn't realise that this is a hostel and a budget hotel combined, and if you are staying in the hotel, you don't see the hostel guests too much, which is great if you like a good night's sleep :)

Thank you for taking the time to communicate to us why our service did not meet your expectations. We have every desire to address your needs and provide the best solution available to resolve this issue as soon as possible. I was informed of the problem the next day and we addressed the situation immediately, including replacing the 2 beds with brand new ones. We take this very seriously as we have measures in place to prevent such things like this from happening. We regularly steam our carpets and beds, with our mattresses being bed bug proof, and i can only apologise that this was not enough on this occasion. Please accept our sincerest apology for any trouble or inconvenience we have caused you. Again, I highly appreciate your feedback as it will assist us in becoming better at what we do. As with any business like ours, the greatest advertising we can have is word of mouth from a satisfied customer. This place was awfully dirty and the website stated they had towels for hire when in fact they only had towels to buy. What do you think I'm going to do with a damp towel, put it in my suitcase?! I think not
