The best hostel in London. Nice staff, really nice location, and a wonderful breakfast if you keep in mind the price you´ve paid for it. I have made real friends in there, and of course I´ll always be back. Recomend 100%. illyushin from brazil.

It\'s generally not bad, but it does bother me that many people shouted outside my door at 3 am !!!!!!!! I did not have a good sleep there. The beds are quite scary, too. One staff is good, another one is not so nice.. No smile or words at all when checking out!

No complaints about this great find. Smart location in London where other Hotels in the area probably cost a bomb. 5 minute walk from paddington. Beds were fine (no luxury but what do you expect). Ensuite is a bonus. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. I would definately stay again if the price was still £6.99 per night, but maybe that was just a january thing. Cheers guys

Is it really necessary to take extra charge for leaving the luggage for a couple of hours!?

Nice area, quite close to tube. Unlimited toast, tea, coffee and cornflakes for breakfast but it all gets put away at 09:30. They insist on photo id on check in so make sure you take some. Towels £5. Hotel-style card swipes on the dorm doors so it feels secure. Altogether a bargain for the price and we'll probably go back.

The rate was very cheap and this hostel has a good location in London, close to a bus and underground station. But the atmosphere wasn't really friendly ... The 2pounds extra charge to keep the luggages the day you check out is not really nice (usually it's free) and there's no kitchen ...

I love the ensuite which bathroom is inside my bedroom. The cleanliness is okay and wi fi is perfect in the room. The only minus point is lack of pocket socket. A room of 6 females dorm only 2 power sockets available.

The picture on the website is not from the hostel! I spend five nights in Best Western Hotel, located at Devonshire Terrace, before going to this hostel and while I was in this hotel I tryed to locate the Smart Hyde Park View hostel by the picture, which is from another hotel located near Best Western at Craven Hill Street, but the hostel isn't located at Craven Hill, but at Craven Hill Gardens. I got really shocked when a woman from the hotel told me the hostel was not there.

The rooms are very small, hardly to breath and it was so hot there that it was impossible to sleep at night. The breakfast was ok but washed cups were not too clean. Reception staff was friendly, especially girls!!!

Good hostel, continental breakfast is basic but fine for a freebie. Twin private was lovely and clean, 2nd stay bathroom was newly renovated and lights hot, door lock not secure and bathroom tiles raised. Staff helpful and accommodating.
