On arrival it would of been nice to have been shown around instead of just being pointed in the direction of the rooms, then maybe when finding the showers you wouldn't get lost as they are in the basement. Some of the staff were rude. But value for money it was in a good location to train station and museum. Would stay again in the future

The hostel was very very dirty and unconfortable. The rooms were small and the floor was slanted.

I like your place, especially this morning when I found my country's national flag (Taiwan) being posted on the wall. The flag wasn't there one week ago when I checked in here. So I think that explains your thoughtfulness and friendliness. How sweet you guys are. I took photos and have them posted on Facebook. And i recommended my friends stay here when they're traveling to London. Best Regards Yu Tung Nan

everything was quite OK, I liked the stay there only the showers could be more private and those showerheads sprayed the water everywhere so even if I didn't want to wash my hair I simply hadn't a choice but everything else was OK

Two of the caucasian security staff were a little uncomfortable to be around. Showers were in the basement.

We stayed there for 5 nights and I m really happy with their security. We went back at night around 10pm and before we even stepped in to the hostel, there was a man or guard outside the door to check you if you have a room card to enter. And there was a night when we had our dinner at the common area, the person in charge went in and asked everyone to show their room card. Those who failed to do so were asked to leave immediately. (There were some men who went in to disturb the ladies)

Excellent value for money, I'll come back next time I am in London. I just would have liked the staff to be less focused on the football match and more on welcoming/advising customers.

Very crowded dorms with a tiny window, hence a very unpleasant smell. Clean sheets, however, the blanket smelt horrible (I preferred sleeping wrapped in my coat) and I am not convinced about the disposable pillow case. The curtains around each bed are a good thing though ! The showers are not for those how like their intimacy as you have to chose between wet clothes or being seen naked.

Safe hostel with good kitchen and friendly staff (receotion staff - cleaning staff was rather rude!). Showers are in the basement which meant 4 floors down and through a maze or through breakfast area and kitchen which was really annoying. Rooms and coridorrs are a bit smelly.

Would definitely stay again, great room, and great shower room. Very close to tube station and ideal base for exploring London. Although criticism was that you had to pay for locker, although it was electronic using your key card, which was handy.

Myself & my wife stayed for 3 nights between 28 to 31 March 2013. We arrived around 9.30 am we were advised rooms were not ready and was offered to store bags in luggage room & come back afterwards. We were not advised that beds will be offered on FCFS basis. We were surprised when we arrived around 8 pm in the evening that 2 lower beds and 2 middle were already occupied by others we had no choice but to occupy balance 2 upper beds but no vacant lower beds were available being easter holidays.

i really enjoyed my stay here. it's pretty basic but really good value for money! the beds have curtains which really helps for privacy and blocking out light. My room was pretty loud but that was expected from a 18 person dorm room. the 3 bed bunks are a bit of a hassle but other things make up for it. really good common area, with tv's, couches and wifi. also a kitchen and free breakfast. defiantly recommend if your on a budget good walking distance to lots of places too!

The hostel is fairly well located. The reception is open non-stop, which is great. Accomodation is simple but sufficient. There's typical breakfast (cornflakes with milk, toast with butter and jam, tea and coffee). The hostel is quite crowded and therefore noisy. The thing that was quite uncomfortable were the showers located at the basement only. This hostel is fine for young backpackers.

This place was disgusting. Absolutely filthy. They filled the rooms with too many beds, the second room we were moved to literally was like a death trap. All the rooms smelled. Garbage everywhere. Looking out onto dumpsters. A girl got robbed while I was there, they broke her locked backpack to steal her ipad and her friend's money. We actually ended up canceling another reservation we had here because it was just unbearable. Staff was not very helpful or friendly.
