It's OK if all you need is just a roof under your head and a bed to sleep in, in the heart of London.

We were there for a whole week!Excellent location, great environment, good security. We used to cook dinner, could use more pots and pans, but still ok.Rooms were tight, not a lot of space to walk and luggage. On the other hand, we noticed we had mice in the room (102) on our second night!!!Other guests commented the same over breakfast. The room wasn\'t clean, food all over the place,we actually did a bit of cleaning. The showers were undergroung,3 floors away from our room. Stiil, really great value!!

Beware of this place; the manager is an idiot who threw me out for no reason. He refused to give me an explanation and at the time it didn’t occur to me to call the police. I had to email for a written description of my egregious behavior. It was promised in two days but took five, I guess while the manager found someone to read him my email and then thought up a pack of lies: I’d had several warnings, I was often rude to staff and guests in many actions (sic) such as changing rooms, I’d been told to

average hostel, nothing great about it. kind of annoying to walk so far to the showers and the wifi isn't the best either. decent price though and within walking distance to SOHO and other good areas of town.

The hostel was clean and quite cheap compared to others. However, it was really quite crowded, the shower facilities were not so good and the common areas were too small for the number of guests staying there. I stayed here purely for the location, and in that sense it was worthwhile.

This was really one of the worst hostels i ever stayed at. I was traveling alone as a girl and in this hostel there were several really old man(40 years or more) who were immediatly trying to flirt with you a 20 year old girl. Imagine if you are in the same room as them that is really scary. Furthermore, in the showering area which is located in the cellar there were several insect sprays which i found really disgusting. Another really bad point was the really rude staff.

The first thing that struck me was the rudeness a staff member who was unwilling to work with my to solve a small/silly problem and then I witnessed another being meanly sarcastic with this poor guy asking a simple question. The rooms are good, I like the privacy drapes that cover your bed and the location is great. I didn't enjoy the extra charge for using credit card, this day and age that's ridiculous. The showers are complicated to get to in the maze basement. Overall, not worth my time again

Flatware dirty. Charge guests L1.50 per day extra for hi-tech security lockers. No clear policy on what can be stored in luggage room. WIFI weak and unreliable.

I you want to see how a refuge camp works, then go to this hostel. I have traveled a lot, but this is the worst hostel I have been to. The staff were rude, the place had so many people that staff didn\\\\\\\'t have time to be nice I guess. There is not enough showers or toilets in the morning. During breakfast people will almost push you out of the way to get a piece of bread. That is all you get for breakfast, bread and cereal, which is normal in some hostel, but in this one people were arguing about whose

Suggested that cleanliness should be improved and noise control should be implemented at midnight.

This was my second stay in the hostel. I had a private room with my child the first time. The second time around, I stayed in a large mixed dorm. I loved hanging out in the lobby, made new friends. Staff were always helpful and very nice. Toilets and showers were clean. Spent less than 90GBP for my 1 week stay and I really enjoyed it. It great value for the money I paid.

The location is very good!Really busy but quiet at night. The staff was nice, dinner room alright. The breakfast consisted of toast, butter, marmelade, coffee+tea; cannot really called it a breakfast but I expected it for the price. It was really annoying that there were just 2 outlets in a room for 8&No outlets in the shower rooms at all, hairdryers didnt work! Just ONE shower room for the whole hostel&toilets were quite dirty!Beds are also not nice, esp. the curtains! No pillow/cover case!!

The character of the building as a whole was taken too far in that the interior was old and run-down. The staff were nice enough, but I was "upgraded" from the 24 bed room I had booked, to a 21 bed room because the 24 would have been empty apart from me and I filled up the 21. Obviously I would have prefered what I had booked since that would have meant privacy and choice of bed. I only wanted a place to rest my head for the night, but based on what I got, the lowish price was too much.

maybe if the staff was a little nicer it would help... i refer to the very rude night doorman, and the staff who just ignores you once you have paid your room... otherwise it's just fine, apart from the fact that there is no lift, and that you can't get wifi at the top floor although the ad says wifi is included.

Great location. There was no much space in the rooms; you need to pay extra for safe lockers! It's unbeliveble that there are only showers in the basement.(and you get lost till you find it) despite that there are 3 floors! Breakfast could be better(cornflakes, marmelade&butter). Big plus for the security guys ! NIce atmosphere is the common room too! C

One of the best hostels i've been, good price, excellent location, near to metro station and mini market (cheap food and meal deals). Well equipped kitchen. Be prepared for the 10 pounds deposit, and bring a towel (or buy it for 5 pounds). You get for what you pay. Cereal, bread and coffe breakfast is better than no breakfast!!!!

Perfectly adequate, nice and clean; my stay was fine and I would definitely go back due to the cheap price and great location. I would recommend this hostel, it was very secure with door staff on at night (but no curfew), and I especially appreciated the curtains on the beds which gave a little privacy. Breakfast was fine (I'd say bring your own mug if you want a REAL cup of tea though, rather than a little plastic cup, but heyho I'm english!) :)

Short bunkbeds, noisy lockers and generally it was quite noisy in the hostel. You could hear people walking in the corridor and because of that your bed was shaking.
