This hostel is usually too crowded (I guess that's because of the price). Rooms are too small for so many people inside, and a bit uncomfortable. It's not easy to sleep when several persons are coming in and out during the whole night. Definitely appropriate if you are likely to party. No plug in the bathroom. Breakfast is all right: toasts, cereals and milk. Tea or coffee. Anyway, price is not high so I would stay in there again when coming to London

The location of the hostel is very good. The breakfast is very sparely. The rooms are dirty. The showers are in the basement. However, the hostel is very cheap. So if you search for a cheap and centrally located hostel without any need for comfort, this is your place to stay.

The exprience I had in Smart Russell Square was very holible, as soon as I entered in room no. 111 someones laptop was stolen, and I was the fast suspect. I was anly just entered the builiding like 10 minuts and then my bag was checket that someones Laptop is mising, polisi where called. The Hostel has cecurity cameras but does not working, and at night I get a man who was distubing, coming to my bed open my curten. There bleakfast was just cheap bread jurm and buter and cheap corflakes.Very bad

location is great, right near the subway station. breakfast is alright, shower is little poor, toilet is limited compare to number of people staying here. It's really crowd, old man looks like staff tried to picked me up. that was gross. he was bit annoying and I don't think I was the only one who got annoyed.

Could use some air conditioning, and maybe a secure way to use a power outlet so that valuables don't have to be left out in the open.

The staff at the service desk was blunt and impolite. All night people slammed the doors. \'I did not know about the additional payment for the locker. I had to come down from the third floor, and said\'why didn\'t you inform me at the time of checking in?\' He said the info is in the website. When I asked I needed the locker and was ready to pay, \'He said they were closing the shift and I had to wait until 4\'. I was very annoyed as I had to do up and down three times just for that.

I only saw the hostel briefly, as I was asleep during most of my stay, but it was very impressive and good value: clean, pleasant, conveniently located, efficient staff, wi-fi. Curtains on the bunks are a nice touch, enabling privacy and making it easier to sleep. My only real criticisms are that security could be tighter (it is easy to walk into the reception room unchallenged) and the breakfast menu was rather narrow. Extra toasters and seating would also be useful. V. good overall, though.

The hostel is clean and the curtain for each bed is very nice. I also like the common area. However, there's no toilet and bath place in the room. Generally saying, it's worth the money for such facilities.

Ideal location for a day & night out in London, ended up about a 10-minute walk away. Easy to find and near the Tube. Room & bed were both clean and comfortable and I was really impressed for the price. Things I could say against it would be that they didn't offer me a locker key when checking in, then because the staff were busy I had to queue up for 15 mins to get one, however the staff were at leats being helpful to others! Also got a bit lost at first finding the room!

The hostel only mixed rooms and mixed bathrooms which made me feel uncomfortable. It was alos very noise there didn't seem to be any curfew. The staff did not make fell welcome, and I lost some of my food.

I've stayed here a few times when I have to be in central London really early. This is pretty much the best location and best value for your money that you will find in this area. There is generally a good vibe and breakfast is included in the small fare! You basically get the fundamentals that you need for a comfy night. Recommend earplugs in case you have a snorer in your dorm. Staff are average-not overly friendly but they get the job done. Ideal for a stay of a couple nights.
