I booked for a big group of 25 persons. There was a deposit for 200 GBP and a 5 % fee if you choose to pay by card, ( 65 GBP), none of theese things were communicated on the website. The showers are i the basement, not easy to find and to hot, you can´t stand more than 10 seconds in that temperature. The beds are about 180 cm long, to short if you are tall. The staff seem to be from Russia, and are as serviceminded and polite as you can expect people from eastern Europe to be.

I enjoyed the time I spent at this hostel very much. It was clean and very safe. Most of all, I enjoyed the common room and getting to know people from all over the world. There is a great atmosphere/sense of community and people chatted with one another a lot. Good for traveling alone!

Beds bad- loud, not fixed and you notice every move of the person over/under you. Not enough choices for breakfast and it would be better to have more small packets of marmelade than one big one where everybody put its knife in. The toilets were quite dirty and there is no possibility for showerjell to put in the shower (ends up on the floor). And one fridge is definitly too less for all those people!

Staff could have been friendlier. There should have been showers closer to the top floors. Left luggage should have been cheaper or for free, as in most hostels. Other things were fine.

I´d already been in many hostels before so this isn´t the first time I sleep in one. It´s filthy everywhere, even at the showers and the bathrooms. The rooms stank all the time and the beds were full of spots. But in the contrary, it´s really cheap. I´d say that this hostel has a good location and the price is very low.

couldn't sleep at all, for a week, because of the squeaky wooden upper floor, staff is unfriendly and just doesn't care, showers are awfully hot and no chance to lower the temperature. the common room is very nice tho, but that's pretty much it

The hostel is nothing special. The room are too small, loudly, not enough hangers and the water in your room isn't for drink and it stinks too. The showers disapointed me because are not usefull . I found the staff very cool and helpfull and the hostel is in a very good location. not enough hangers

WORST HOSTEL EVER. Mice in the rooms! Disgusting breakfisrt, dirty showers, rude staff,Wifi not working...I booked(in Nov)for a month in a 12-bed dorm. They made me change room several times. Not even an apology nor some help for luggage.Very small beds. If you're taller than 1.70m,forget sleeping there. You have to secure your stuffs. Many thefts!Computers,cameras...but also food in the fridge. Lockers to pay (1,5£) and luggage room 2£. All in1(locker, lugg.room...) this is dirty expensive hostel!

Central. The staff were abrupt and sneering at an Asian man looking for a locker while we were checking in. We were up 6 flights of stairs and the showers were in the basement. At 8/9pm we were playing music, not loudly, on a blackberry phone and a man in a high-vis jacket banged on our door telling us to turn it off because people had "work"??? in the morning, cleaners entered and vacuumed with no regard for us while still in bed at 10am. Room was a cell, big gap at base of door, unclean, cold.

A basic hostel with communal kitchen - you get what you pay for if you get it at the cheap rates.

VERY BAD HOSTEL. Dirty, lots of thefts (computers, cameras... but also food in the fridge), rude staff... You have to pay to put you're stuffs under the bed (1.5£ a day) and for the luggage room (2£ a luggage). All in one, this hostel is expensive. There are also mice in the rooms. I stayed there a month and will never go back. This was my worst experience in a hostel (and I've been in 15th hostels throughout Europe, including England).

It was a little crowded but overall very nice. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Having breakfast provided was a nice plus, and I liked staying in a place with lots of other younger people.
