Excellent value for money, I'll come back next time I am in London. I just would have liked the staff to be less focused on the football match and more on welcoming/advising customers.

I was passing through London for a night and needed a cheap place to stay. It is definitely a cheap and affordable option, but I would not want to stay there for longer than a night. I found the atmosphere to be depressing and confined. However, it is close to the nearest tube, and you can get to a lot of touristy or non-touristy places fairly quickly. I've stayed in the area prior to this visit, and found the location to be pretty convenient.

Would definitely stay again, great room, and great shower room. Very close to tube station and ideal base for exploring London. Although criticism was that you had to pay for locker, although it was electronic using your key card, which was handy.

Safe hostel with good kitchen and friendly staff (receotion staff - cleaning staff was rather rude!). Showers are in the basement which meant 4 floors down and through a maze or through breakfast area and kitchen which was really annoying. Rooms and coridorrs are a bit smelly.

Very crowded dorms with a tiny window, hence a very unpleasant smell. Clean sheets, however, the blanket smelt horrible (I preferred sleeping wrapped in my coat) and I am not convinced about the disposable pillow case. The curtains around each bed are a good thing though ! The showers are not for those how like their intimacy as you have to chose between wet clothes or being seen naked.

The hostel is fairly well located. The reception is open non-stop, which is great. Accomodation is simple but sufficient. There's typical breakfast (cornflakes with milk, toast with butter and jam, tea and coffee). The hostel is quite crowded and therefore noisy. The thing that was quite uncomfortable were the showers located at the basement only. This hostel is fine for young backpackers.

i really enjoyed my stay here. it's pretty basic but really good value for money! the beds have curtains which really helps for privacy and blocking out light. My room was pretty loud but that was expected from a 18 person dorm room. the 3 bed bunks are a bit of a hassle but other things make up for it. really good common area, with tv's, couches and wifi. also a kitchen and free breakfast. defiantly recommend if your on a budget good walking distance to lots of places too!

Pubs, restaurants, coffie shops, supermarket around the corner. Few minutes walk to Oxford Street.

Myself & my wife stayed for 3 nights between 28 to 31 March 2013. We arrived around 9.30 am we were advised rooms were not ready and was offered to store bags in luggage room & come back afterwards. We were not advised that beds will be offered on FCFS basis. We were surprised when we arrived around 8 pm in the evening that 2 lower beds and 2 middle were already occupied by others we had no choice but to occupy balance 2 upper beds but no vacant lower beds were available being easter holidays.

This place was disgusting. Absolutely filthy. They filled the rooms with too many beds, the second room we were moved to literally was like a death trap. All the rooms smelled. Garbage everywhere. Looking out onto dumpsters. A girl got robbed while I was there, they broke her locked backpack to steal her ipad and her friend's money. We actually ended up canceling another reservation we had here because it was just unbearable. Staff was not very helpful or friendly.

You get what you are paying for. It was so cramped in the rooms and you have to pay extra each night for a locker. I would just put some extra money down and spring for a better hostel.

It was awfull, by the minute we arrived it only became worse and worse, there was too many people for the size of the room, i mean i've been in other hostels with even more people 20-22 persons but it doesn't even compare, it smelt really bad, the have courtains in every bed that i think they should change every time there is a new client, the lockers where too small that all of my roomies' clothes where in the floor. I didn't even get some sleep there, i couldnt stay there for more than 5 hrs.

This hostel was great in most ways. It had a decent kitchen and very friendly staff. However, the showers were miserable, and the rooms were often noisier than most hostels I have stayed in. The showers would only spray water when pushing the button or for a few seconds after releasing the button. The shower head sprayed most of the water directly into my face and had little water pressure directed towards my body.

Dirty and cramped place. Water in showers was warm if it was in a mood, the pressure was low. Location was good.

The Hostel is not all that Smart to be honest like its name but it is in a good location with friendly staff on the whole and its pretty clean. It's by far from being the best Hostel that I have ever stayed in but it's relatively inexpensive and its a bed in a Hostel in Central London for Around £15 per night which isn't to bad, the fixtures and fittings are not great but most of the staff were very friendly and pretty cheerful and generally quite helpful. Would I stay there again, yes I would.

Worst staff I have ever met in an hostel. They almost let me sleep in street while it was snowing outside cause I had no cash on the date of my arrival. I had to beg to stay in the lobby while there was an empty bed inside. The issue was my bank was sloved the day after and of course they charge me the night I spent in the lobby DON'T GO IN THIS HOSTEL! As everything went smoothly it might be ok but in case of any trouble they let you down. Don't even think about checking out 10min late!
