The worst place in the world!

The location is excellent but little has been done to improve the place regarding access and ablutions. It is very clean the bunks comfortable but I was on the third floor with no lift and the showers in the basement!

the bed was not that comfortable...

Please, this Hostel is terrible. Don`t sleep here!

One thing that really disappointed me was the showers... They are those pressure showers and they point everywhere but on you, and there's no hot water for everybody... If you go on a peak time u don't get hot water, if u go on a calm time u burn urself, not cool... Also, too many people in a bedroom cause little "fights", there were many people looking for jobs in this hostel, they didn't have the mind of a traver, they were stressed and for that cause I saw some "fights" in the bedroom @ 2 am

I really enjoyed the hostel. But the one thing that bothered me was the noise level. Even though the hostel promotes a sleep easy environment, it isn't because you can hear all the noise of people in your room and the halls. Yes this includes during quiet hours too. I enjoyed everything about the hostel just didn't sleep very well.

Too many people, room smells. tiny and has no tables or chairs, staff are arrogant, when we checked into the hostel, a women was arguing with one of the employees, she almost cried......

Some of the staff at this hostel were not very polite at all. They also confused my booking so I had to find somewhere else to stay for one night. The check in procedure is very laborious and complicated especially if you have booked for a group of people. The security is slightly over the top! My friends were not even allowed to wait in the lobby while I went to my room quickly. The security guard handled it very badly by just shouting across the room at them until they left. Atmosphere is bad

Been ages since I stayed here. It used to be my centrally located place to crash when I was working in London. Nice to see some of the same staff, and the curtains on the beds really make it feel like you have your own privacy, despite having many people in some rooms.

It was very very nice to be in this hostel, it was an advice of my cousin to stay there because he had already stayed there. Liked this place.

It would be much better to have separate girls and guys facilities and showers on each floor.

Nothing to complain about for this price

Staff were rude and they charge extra for credit cards and locker space. Shared shower block. Free breakfast was good. There are better hostels in London.

In short: I would never stay at this hostel again and I would never recommend it either! Cleanliness is something that they definitely don't care about. The showers are in the basement, there's no place to put the stuff you need during the shower (soap, shampoo...), water is either insanely hot or cold, and you have to press a button every 3 seconds to get the water. The only good thing about this place is the location, as it is 3 minutes walk away from a tube station.

Location is good but DO NOT get the dorms, despite the cheap price. I was fooled into getting the cheapest dorm which was 18 beds crammed into a tiny space. There were 3 tier bunkbeds and it was so cramped, there was no space to put your luggage. Also, the people around seemed really dodgy. :s I changed hostel that same night i checked and went to the one next door. Even though it was more expensive, i decided to pay more to have a peaceful night's sleep.

the place is ok, centrally located, decently clean and equipped. Lockers are available for 1 pound/day. The kitchen is fully equipped but there are too many guests for one kitchen so it's not easy to cook during peak time. Internet is normally ok but it gets extremely slow during peak time. There are many showers and toilets so you don't have to wait but you can't regulate the temperature of the water and sometimes it is not adequate.
