It was cheap and good value for money as its just a place to crash ur head so its fine. The only downside was there were no curtains in the dorm room so in the morning its very bright and you wake up early. Otherwise for the money you pay all was pretty good

This hostel is OK if you're just using it as a place to sleep. The people on the desk didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. The bed and room were fine, although the other people staying in it were quite loud in the morning and left the floor in the room and bathroom very dirty and covered in sand. This place is fine if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep. You need to check out before 10am otherwise they can charge you for another nights stay. It's quite far from the main town.

If you need a cheap place to crash for a night this is a fine hostel. Not recommended for longer stays. Staff are not nice, rooms are not really clean, nor the bathroom or any other part of the hostel. Linen is almost disgusting (blood stains on some white sheets, found hair, linen for duvet looks terribly dirty). And hostel is 30 min walk from the city centre.

This place is a true hell hole, and should be avoided at all costs. It feels more like a discount prison than a hostel, right down to the antique bunk beds. They charge for wi-fi, have no functional lockers, and a very weak "continental" breakfast - stale bread, corn flakes, and tea. Then throw in the fact that Brighton is 2 miles away, this place is in Hove.

I knew exactly what I was getting into when I booked, and this hostel was absolutely fine. The free breakfast was a great addition, even if it was a little limited, and it was a perfectly acceptable place to stay for the weekend. There's just nothing about the hostel which in particularly nice. Pretty average beds and bedding, tiny bathrooms and a fairly grotty building altogether. I'm not saying don't stay there because it was a perfectly good place, just know what to expect when you arrive.

Really nice and light dorms close to the sea. Our toilet was locked with paper and nobody seemed to fix it, though. The location was really nice except for the rather long walk from the station, which was a problem for us since we wore really heavy backpacks and the sun was shining. But in the end it was really cheap and totally worth the money.

I'm 180 cm tall and the bed was too short for me. Had too sleep bent. There were no curtains on the windows. The hostel is located next to a busy street with traffic all night long. Shower head fitting was broken. Kitchen area was unappealing. Very no-frills and lacking any atmosphere of a fun youth hostel.

Good location on the seafront, even if it is a 2o/25min walk to the centre, its a nice walk along the seafront. Dorm rooms a bit cramped and lockers didn't have locks although perhaps reception could provide this.

Very good location, not direct in the city centre but directly at the sea. This area invites to enjoy the beach and having walks. Very friendly staff. Overnighting was comfortable
