This hostel did not have a good atmosphere as a business seemed to have booked the hotel and the workers all claimed the common areas as work spaces. The community vibe was therefore difficult to navigate. It was not easy to make friends with such a business-oriented atmosphere. Otherwise the hostel was of decent quality. I enjoyed that each dorm room had its own bathroom to share.

Great hostel. We stated in a dorm room and were very pleased. Definitely recommend this place!

Good location, well connected, closest u-bahn stop is at few meters from the hostel in Goetheplatz and so is the bus 58 stop (few minutes and you're in Hauptbahnhof!). My room was newly and nicely decorated, very nude tones and basic forniture (common shelves, hangers, one table and poufs). Each bed had its own drawer below that (you can lock it with a padlock).

Located about a 20-25 minute walk from the old city center, Smart Stay was a nice hostel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. There was only one bathroom for 8 people, so it was often inconvenient. The internet was spotty and outlets were hard to find. The breakfast was good and included a lot.

Was not the best place to stay, especially the wifi hardly worked at all in the evening.

Well, the hostel is located only a kilo meter from the city, and very closer to a U-bahn station. That saves some time. But the wifi connectivity at the hostel sucks! they should change their NW systems or upgrade to a better band width plan...

The hostel is very well located, with a underground station very close, the place is nice, and have restaurants at the neighbourhood. However, the only problem I had was the wifi not working so good ate the rooms, but at the reception it worked.

staff very professional an imformative,,,,available to help good location,,excellent breakfast for the money I will return soon,, thanks to all staff / personnel

-Super comfy & clean rooms -Hot showers -Great location -POOR//NO wifi signal above 1st floor in bedrooms -Highly recommend !!

Overall a pretty terrible place. Wifi was brutal, disconnected every 10 seconds. Large groups stayed there and many were school groups. Lots of kids. Staff were helpful but they had so many people to deal with that they were always rushing and busy.

Wifi makes you want to pull your hair out. Very frustrating.

This is not a hostel, it's more like a half star hotel. There's lots of little kids running around and there is no atmosphere. The kitchen is so small and you have to rent out your dishes 2 floors below and other people take them and you hunt them down. The wifi codes only last a day and they sign out every 30 seconds. Everything here was a pain, worst hostel we have been in over 4 months in Europe.

I stayed 2 nights, but was booked in for 3. A guy smoked in my dorm out the windows. Telling staff did little to prevent it from reoccurring. Kitchen is very small but enough if there is no one else using it. Bathroom floor always had water everywhere (need a bath mat or towel at least). Wifi annoying with constant logging in.

Overall this was a decent hostel. The beds were really comfortable and it was in a pretty good location, but my stay was hampered by poor wifi, and lack of bathrooms and power outlets. My wifi didn't work in my room and you needed a new password every 24 hours which was inconvenient. While it was nice to have an en suite bathroom, there was one bathroom for 6 girls which meant you had to wait awhile for it usually. Finally, there were hardly any outlets in my room, which again was inconvenient

The overall experience is good. The only problem is the wifi not working well and needed to be logged in every time you use the internet after a short break which is not that convenient.

The hostel was good for what I paid for. The staff were friendly and helpful. The entrance is a little bit sketchy but overall the atmosphere is nice. The only problem I found was that noise in the hallway echos very loudly and you can here it inside your room. This is a great stay if your going to be out in the city all day. It is minutes from the main areas of Munich and public transportation is less than a minute away.

Good value to stay, location and staff are wonderful, and most important have met some great friends.

+ The beds were really comfortable! - Few sockets to charge appliances! + Quite central in terms of location! - The floor of my room was quite dirty all the time I was there!

the beds dont have private light. girls always leave the room in a mess.

It contains everything you need for a stay in Munich, and the staff was helpful on top of that
