I absolutely loved my stay here. Great location - right on the island. The staff was really friendly (although the doorbell didn't work at reception, had me worried for a little while). Met some really nice people here, and the kitchen was great. Everything was really clean - I enjoyed my stay here! It was a little pricey, but still worth it.

It was amazing in the way of location. Staff was so good. Everything was OK with this hostel. It was a bit expensive but it's Venice so I think not a big deal.

My friend and I only spent a day here and it was absolutely perfect. Our room had a channel right next to it and in the morning we woke up to a mother duck and her ducklings swimming slowly, trying to beat the rising sun. If you want an inexpensive Venetian experience at a good price this is the hostel for you.

Bad security, no locker and everyone can get in to your room and most of the time you cant find the staff there. There is no bad sheet and never clean the blanket, quite dirty...

My friend and I stood outside the door knocking in the rain with all of our luggage getting soaked because nobody was there to let us in. Finally after an hour a person staying at the hostel let us in and informed us nobody was there and probably wouldn't be for quite some time. My friend and I proceeded to wait in the "waiting room" for another hour before we decided we were no longer going to waste our only day in Venice waiting for somebody to help us from the hostel.

The hostel is in fantastic location. Venice is on your doorstep! I was let into the hostel by another backpacker. My check-in time was 15:00 but the owners didn't turn up until gone 18:00. Good luck getting in! The beds were sagging in the middle. Every day I came in to find the windows wide open = poor security. Lots of Korean people congregated in the kitchen each night and made lots of noise. The bathroom was grotty. The kitchen was usable but not great. This place is only good for location.

Address on website is not the hostel. There's a number on the door, you ring, and someone comes to bring you to the actual hostel(5 minutes). Apart from that it's fine.

Good location with a supermarket only 5 minutes walk away as well as everything in Venice being walking distance. Although, the staff is not always there, they do leave their number to contact them if you arrive early for your room. The lack of lockers was not an issue for me since I was the only person in the room, but the person who checked me in had lost the keys. Another concern was one of the employees arriving in my room, seeing if a door was locked, without announcing who he was. Weird

The staff was very nice, the location is really good, and the room is quiet. I just missed lockers.but everything else was ok.

Shower is moldy, you share the bathroom with the owners that disappear all day until after 10p to cook and take a shower, unles they decide to take a shower at 8a, an hour after the construction starts. There are no lockers, no city maps, no personality. It's a spare room in their home with 3 beds. The restaurant and shoe store next door don't even know its a hostel next door, super sketchy.

One of my personal favorites. The main office is a couple 'blocks' away from the actual hostel, but other than that there were no surprises. The staff was great and very helpful throughout the stay. The 2 bathrooms are big and clean, although I could see availability being an issue with a full house. The big sell for me was the full kitchen so I could take advantage of the markets and just relax, taking in real Venetian life. Location could also not have been better! Can't wait to go back!

One of my best hostel experience... Location is at the middle of train station and San Marco, so perfect. And especially, staff are very gentile and helpful for all of my questions...Finally, rooms were so large and comfortable, highly recommended!

I was actually taken to another hostel, 6 minutes and 800m walk away on arrival. Seemed dodgy at the time but the hostel I arrived at was at least as good as others I'd stayed in through Italy in every respect. Staffed by nice people too.

Good location!10 min walk from train station, on the main road and near canals. BEWARE Hostel address and directions are wrong(main street.. across 3 bridges). Very basic hostel. Showers are good. Kitchen is very average. Decent place to stay for a night or 2.
