Everything was great except for the weather and the short daylight in Nov. When we reached the hostel, it looked eerie as is was dark and desolated until we met the lady in charge and when we went inside the hostel, everything in our perception has changed. fortunately we drove there via a gps (tom tom) , otherwise it may be difficult to look for it as it is not very near to the town of Fort Williams

Our room was nice and toasty once we got there. We got the four bedroom ensuite bunkhouse and it was great! They had the warmest bed covers and I had a great night\'s sleep. There were also no other guests while we were there so we basically had a whole lodge to ourselves. The only thing I didn\'t like was that they didn\'t tell me I had to pay in cash.

we had mostly stayed in B&B's so we wern't expecting anything too fancy but we were pleasently surprised when we got insde the lodge. It was really clean and tidy and had a lovely family feel about it

Awesome family-run hostel, voted this our favourite for the whole trip. More of a holiday lodge than a hostel though. Very kind and friendly staff. Has a big and well-equipped kitchen and living area, and a co-operative store is just down the road. Directly next to Corpach station. Also has a cleaning/drying room (will be needed after a hike on Ben Nevis!). The only downside was the distance from Fort William, but on the other hand it is just 10 minutes away by train.

First time in a bunkhouse & we were really surprised, we had advantage of the ensuite with no other guests to share the kitchen space with so maybe we were lucky to have the place to ourselves but quite honestly, the accomodation exceeded our expectations. Nicely decked out like an austrian ski lodge, well equiped, clean & tidy, wouuld certainly consider another visit.

The location is a bit far off, but the house has a great kitchen, very clean, with a huge wooden table and a lounge area, I just absolutely loved it. The views are great. The only downside was the size of the room, which was extremely small, we could barely fit 4 people standing in there. Bathrooms are shared so they could get a bit busy in the morning.

Beds comfy & building cosy. Bedroom doors no locks. Drying room useless - boots soaking the following day. Disappointed with staff. Very rude on phone when I phoned to inform them that we would be half hour later than expected. I didn't appreciate being reminded to clean up after ourselves as they were not our mothers - as a 34 year old mother myself I found this extremely offensive!!   Read Owner Comments
