A good cheap place to stay. We had to check in a little later around 7pm, after their offices had closed. We had let the staff know about our later departure, but had to wait 1 hour for them to arrive. We also had to pay in cash because the credit card machine was in the office, but they did not have a key. This was short barebones stay for us. The wifi is spotty in the building.

The staff live off site, message with phone number on other building, is a little confusing. We were only guests at hostel that could hold 14 people would be very cramped if full. No TV or WiFi. Facilities are clean, but basic with very dark 70s pine decor and kitchen units. Have stopped previously in Ben Nevis youth Hostel before, found much better backpack atmosphere. Good point beds comfortable and would be good for large group that wanted to be close together also staff friendly, helpfu

Very clean, tons of kitchen stuff which made cooking a breeze. Laundry was cheap, only 2 pounds a load for wash and dry. You'll want a car if you want to stay here and explore Fort William, as it is a bit out the of way. Tina is very helpful and friendly and check in was seamless. Her husband, I forget his name, is pretty crusty though. You have to turn the hot water on before you can use it anywhere in the place which was annoying.

very cozy. nice showers and had a small number of beds, so it doesnt feel too crowded. nice location, right by the water

Good value for money, a bit of a drive to Fort William, but all in all a good stay.

Water temperature of the shower never reach high enough temperature even though we followed recommendations about the use of hot water.

Very nice getaway. Prob not a good place if you're looking for a party. Beautiful location. Enjoyed our stay here. The Beds were very squeaky though.

The facilities of the kitchen were great, and the beds were super comfy. The comfiest we've had so far on our trip, in fact!!

I think the owner must have had a bad experience with all male groups because from our arrival there seemed to be a presumption that we would be badly behaved. In reality we were a group of exhausted mountain bikers who just wanted to eat and go to bed. The bunkhouse was very clean and comfortable with ample facilities and good parking. I would recommended this hostel but please work on your people skills. We are not all irresponsible lunatics!

Very nice place, friendly owners.
