Good place but need to add towels in the room. We were surprised that there no towels in room. In general, good place to stay. Safe and clean.

Great hostel in good location. Staff are very knowledgeable about Bangkok and are happy to help with all enquiries. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay that I doubled my planned length at this hostel. Hostel is kept very clean.

Staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is good! However, facilities are relatively not good enough as no Wifi and TV in the room

After a surprising unpleasant stay at a highly rated hostel near Ko San road, I moed to this hostel in a recommendation of a fellow traveller I met in Singapore. The hostel was first class! Great common room, tv room with a hugh tv and sound system with DVD player, fast computers, good breakfast and amazing staff! It is close to the BTS and therefore allows easy access to the rest of Bangkok and conveniently located right by the night market (no noise pollution at the hostel though!) and a 7-11

Excellent hostel! Free breakfast consists of a small muffin, some fruits, and bread with butter and jam. Friendly front desk staff, knowledgable and helpful. Great value: clean, relaxing, and comfortable. Will stay here again!

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; the hostel was essentially spotless, and the location is very convenient for both the underground subway and the above-ground skylink. It's also in an area with plenty of bars, a large night market, and restaurants/street food in close proximity. Highly recommend.

great staff, spotlessly clean, hotel facilities in a hostel. the staff were great and the location was great, too. More ppl should know that Khao San road is a horrible place to stay due to horrible transportation.

Front desk staff is GREAT but is occasionally away leaving only cleaning staff who don't offer to help you (probably because they dont seem to have any English ability.) you will either have to try to make them call the front's cell phone or wait until they get back.

The room was really nice, clean and well equipped. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and professional, but a bit impersonal. The breakfast included in the price is very good. The location is very convenient for restaurants, shops, a market and the skytrain and ok for the mrt. There was too much emphasis placed on the house rules and the fines for breaking them (including no interior photo's as some part is supposedly a heritage site, we saw nothing in there worthy of such an attitude).

we enjoyed our stay and will return. the hostel is a good base from which to explore bangkok. despite its central location (skytrain station is only a short walk away), the hostel is also a good place to escape the noise and chaos of downtown bkk. but most importantly, the staff is very friendly and helpful. thank you very much bee! ivo

I sincere respect the owner and her way to oprate her hostel. As the hostel's name: Smile society-the owner and her staffs are very friendly, could detially explaine all the information you need with warm and patient attitude. In addition, I could find the owner use high quilty facilities and electronic appliance to delcate the hostel. The room I stayed was great, clean, cozy with modern design. This is the best hostel I've stay and strongly recoomend it to those who's going travel in Bangkok.

Extremely clean hostel with friendly staff. Free internet and nice breakfast. Staff were helpful with directions about town and arranging a (4.30am!) checkout and taxi to the airport. The location is handy to both train types.

It was my first time to stay in a hostel and my experience with Smile Society is surely a memorable one. All the amenities and comforts of a hotel, I found in Smile Society. It was very, very clean and well-kept. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming. It is a great place to meet new people as well. Bee is key to helping tourists get the most out of their stay in Thailand. She and her staff surely know how to take excellent care of their guests.

Stayed at smile society initially for 4 nights but liked it so much we ended up staying for 3 weeks !!!... the place and location itself would give it a top rating, however with it being run by Bee the manager its takes it to a whole new level :-).. from the start you are advised not to fall for any of the local tricks the Tuc Tuc drivers can try and con you to the local good and bad places to avoid, its like having some one who is looking after you all the time, I would rate this place 5 stars !

I had an excellent two nights stay here, the staff were so friendly and helpful! It was also really easy to find as the instructions for catching the train from the airport are really clear! They also supply a really nice breakfast and the place is kept very clean!
