Incredibly friendly staff whose where so helpful and made my stay very comfortable.

Very friendly people . Overall it was not the most pleasant stay i have ever had with sleaping in a caravan. However, the owner arranged a sleeping place for me as a female outside a dorm packed with men, which was very kind. Furthermore, you need a car to drive to the city centre.

A hugely helpful and engaged family run this property, including providing cheap shuttle services across the city and flexible breakfast etc. Other requests, however random, were sorted, giving great vfm overall. Enjoyed being invited to the owener's local club for drinks/darts and playing with their kids. Shuttle help means suburb location can be overcome. Dorm and communal rooms basic but not unclean, as you would expect from a good value hostel. Garden and cottage rooms v nice.

This is a big family that made some space in their home for backpackers. So you will be sharing the kitchen and bathroom with them. One the one hand this is intimate on the other hand this can get crammed. On arrival we were shown just the way to the dorm, everything else we had to find out ourselves - unambitious owner. The pool was big and clean. The location is out of the way so bring your own car or plan for taxi.
