(+)Although its location is far inside an alley, it wasn't too difficult to find it as most local people know the place. The breakfast was good - fried egg, toast, a banana, mango juice and a cup of tea! Staff is all helpful. Bathroom is new and water pressure was high enough. (-)I had to pay extra INR200 to use the a/c in the room, which was not mentioned on this website. My single room was so small that I almost felt claustrophobia. I asked the receptionist for a hanger but never got it.

Manager there,Ali who gave information, supported during stayed, I\'ve to check out early morning.He also provided breakfast(pack)for me. He did not encourage me for the private arrangement but he just ask me as normal whether I need anything or not. Well, I most appreciate for my first arrive in India.

Great stay, no problems at all. Hostel was clean and staff was friendly. Room was small and fairly basic but overall a great value (I paid the same in Agra for a veritable pit...)

Okay rooms, TV Allright, big double bed, shower wasn't good, though hot water. Average for India. Free internet was a plus, good speed. Staff in my building were kind og lazy took them 3 hours to go to my room and check out a problem... And when I checked out, the guy tried to overcharge me, wouldn't have noticed it, if it wasn't for the manager next door who pointed it out. Would not recommend it, if it's your first time in India, find an area less crowded and noisy.

Very nice guesthouse. Nice and helpful staff. Free internet use (also computers, not only wi-fi) and helpful service for train and flight tickets and Indian SIM card etc. Breakfast was ok as well. I will go here next time as well! :)

Very well located - like 400 m from New Delhi Railway Station. The breakfast was very basic one.

We loved our stay at Smyle Inn. The location is perfect (although a bit hard to find initially) and the breakfast is fantastic!! Egg sandwich, juice, coffee, cereal/milk, and a banana! After 3 weeks of travel through India the staff here were by far the best and most accomodating. We were taking a late train and got to shower before we left which was so nice. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but honestly we were hardly in there so it was perfect for what we needed!! Excellect choice!

I loved the Hostel and Staff, room was very big for the price I paid, Aircons were working perfect, there was internet in room that made easy, yes there was time net was up and down but I guess thats every where in the world net behaves like that. in overal good hostel and once again staff were great they were willing to help every moment. there was free breakfast which was nice but they can improve quality of breakfast.

It was our second stay at this hostel, so we made it clear to the owner that we were very unsatisfied about it's cleanliness and room the first time, and this time we got a much better room and clean towels, sheets were still full of spots, but I guess it's "clean" by Indian standards. So I could say they listen to your feedback, but you have to talk to the owner himself. Location is very good if you need to catch a train, it's 5-10mins walking to NDLS. Otherwise its very hard to find,get pickup

Hotel is off the main bazaar and 5 mins walk to new Delhi station. Dirty bathroom, dirty sheets, rubbish bin not emptied on arrival in room. No hot water at all and we paid for a delux room, not worh the extra at all. But if you ask for new sheets towels etc they will happily provide. Location great, breakfast was good, I guess it was ok for India standards. Oh and air port pickup was smooth no problems with a 2am arrival time.

nothing too special, however a relatively clean and ok place to stay didn't really like pahar ganj itself too much though

This is a handy little hotel, in the middle of the tourist area but has great amenities.

I chose the airport pickup and the driver pushed me to give him tips. Try to get a room that is not on ground floor, as it is quite noisy. Reception staff wasn't very friendly. Facilities (internet, bathroom, ac) were good. Included breakfast was a nice surprise. Cleanliness was good for India.

It is a very friendly and nice little Hostel. Everything works like in the description. It's near to the Main Bazaar Road, the New Delhi Railway Station and to the Metro Station Ramakrishna Ashram Marg. It's perfect for doing start your trip through Delhi and whole India. We'd stayed for organisational reasons seven nights and we definitely will come back. Unfortunately the hostels has no restaurant. So people go out for lunch in the evening. But there are several Restaurants near by.

Great location, once you figure out the alley down Main Bazaar to go down. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Single room w en suite had hot water shower and was quiet. Lots of extra services including laundry, SIM card and travel help. Secure at night. Great breakfast as well! Definitely worth the money and being here takes the edge off Delhi!

Great hostel and loved staying here. The only point I have is to make the instructions a little clearer in terms of walking there. I think it is a little confusing saying the "diagonal road". Paharganj is really the road opposite the exit of the train station not the one diagonal. Great hostel!!!
