Smyle in were friendly and very accommodating. They arranged for us a personalised tour on India within our budget, which was a wonderful way to see the India they knew. Had a great stay, excellent location in the centre of the bazaar. Have already recommended to all travellers we have met going to Delhi :)

Absolutely wonderful place! Arranged for pickup from the airport less than 24 hours before, and they happily arranged it. The staff was incredibly helpful in providing resources to plan my India trip. Will be back again! Thank you

Great location for New Delhi Station. Our room was a reasonable size but a little dark.

I stayed with my husband 3 times at the Smyle Inn & was very satisfied. * Very helpful staff & Management. Excellent breakfast;good security, located in a typical Indian City area. * Very reasonably prized. * The hostel had a real family atmosphere; and help for travelers was readily available. * I would always recommend this place and will certainly return there on any future Indian visit. .

It's a great hostel. Rooms are a good size, beds are nice, hot showers and even TV! That is what the newer building of the smyle inn is like anyway. There are two buildings about a block apart. I'm not sure what the old one is like. The staff, however, did not seem to be the friendliest bunch. It seemed like they thought they were doing me a favor by letting me stay there, instead of the other way around. But in the end, they were pleasant enough and it is a really good value for your money.

This was the worst hostel I stayed in India. don't get airport pick up. they charge u 480 inr. a pre-paid taxi takes u to the main bazaar for 250 and if you take the airport express its 150.They didn't provide what I had booked: A/C room, soap, hot water, etc. no apologies. annex 2 closes down at about 10 pm and doesn't open until 8 am. everyone goes to sleep. When I complained about no soap and no hot water at c.o. they told me they had been awake all night. Why would they lie to my face?

Don't be afraid if the Taxi Driver sends you into a small alley. The hostel is only a few meters in it. Everthing worked out well.

Good hotel staff was very helpful. Only issue was that the Wi-Fi would cut in and out. Breakfast could be a little better as well.

Good value and quite clean for Paharganj. Drains in bathroom did smell a bit though.

The rooms are very different. We stayed there twice and one time we' ve got a room without windows. The second time it' s a beautiful, spacious room. Breakfast is ok and the hostel is nearby mainbazarr and train/metro/airportmetrostation. There' s a simple rooftoprestaurent, but it' s only open sometimes.

The rooms are okay - they were clean and decent, but the bathroom was a bit dirty and there wasn't much hot water. The staff was okay, not exactly warm or welcoming though. We got great tours from Smyle Inn though - the day tour of Delhi was great (loved our driver!) and the 2 days tour to Agra and Jaipur was fantastic (though a bit pricey).

Clean and tidy. Quiet and secured. Good location. The staffs might purposely switched off the hot shower or maybe the water heater was automatically switched off (well, I don't know, because of saving electricity perhaps). So If you don't have hot water, just wake the staffs up, ask them to switch on the water heater and everything will be done.

Solid choice in Delhi. Spent a few nights there back in February and would recommend to anyone, especially if it's your first trip to the region. Accommodating staff will help you get settled in a crazy city. Cleanliness was good.
