Smyle Inn Reviews

The rooms here are very basic - but they are clean and secure. The hot water wasn't working when we were there - but I guess that could happen anywhere. The staff and management were the best thing about Smyle Inn, they couldn't of been more helpful with advice about Delhi & booking train tickets for us. We'd stay here again.

This was my second stay at Smyle Inn, and this time I had a room in the larger, more recently refurbished block. This was much more spacious and neatly finished. The free internet and wifi was a boon, and again the location was perfect for getting in from the train station and back out to the airport.

Great hotel. Nice and helpfull staff. It's very near to the main bazaar (which is the backpackerstreet of Delhi). There is an traveloffice on the 3rd floor which is very helpfull, they charge a little bit for there service but I think that is fair. I would stay here again.

The hostel was perfect for me. Central , friendly helpful staff, organised all my travel quickly and efficiently and breakfast on the roof!

We had a great stay at Smyle Inn, the staff are friendly and the boss is very accommodating ,we had a 5am wake up to catch a train and he arranged a breakfast (which is great and filling)for us to take with us(breakfast at 8am).Room was much more than we had imagined down to the flat screen on the wall,with movie channels.Tour desk is friendly and isn't pushy with trips which is a great change! thanks guys

I was really suprised by Smyle Inn. I wasn't expecting too much for the price I paid but I got a great room with air-con, nice new bathroom, and a tv. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. They also have free wi-fi and a free breakfast upstairs which was really nice. The location is in a little laneway just off the main bazaar. I definately recommend staying here as it was very good value for money and perfect for 2 nights.

Good value for money. Basic, clean accommodation. The rooms are extremely basic, small and the bathrooms cramped, but it is Delhi. Paharganj location is handy. Close to Connaught place, 10-15 minute walk.

Good hostel, nice clean rooms. friendly helpful staff, great location, just hold your breath while you walk past the urinal at the bottom of the street...

The Hostel has been improved since we last stayed there 2 years ago. The rooms have been revamped and it has made a big difference. The staff are as always most helpful and willing to assist. Location is good - close to metro and New Delhi railway station. The roof top area is great to sit and relax. Good value for money in this tourist area.

Very good breakfast

Although intially unfriendly the staff turned out to be very helpful and full of information about Delhi. I was staying in a windowless room but it was very clean with a good en suite and TV. Minutes from New Delhi station.

A good first port of call in India. Solid, dependable and cheap. It's location was the main draw - but next time I might look a little further South.

The hostel was textbook. At first we went to the 'wrong' Smyle inn on the same street and were greeted by two patronasing guys who told us to leave. The 'right' hostel was standard. The staff were helpful in arranging a cab to the airport, looking after our luggage and letting us use the shower after check out.

Liked this place. Stayed here on my way home. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, slap bang in the middle of Dehli. It can be a bit difficult to find at first but once you find the place it coouldnt be more central.

The Hostel was great value for money, the free breakfast was a big plus point, no travellers community atmosphere though unfortunately

Very close to the train station and nicely located in the paharganj area. The aircon in our room wasnt working which was a bit annoying but the room was fairly clean and the staff were very friendly to us. The breakfeast was pretty nice.

Airport pick up was great, reception staff were very friendly and helpful, I got sick and they arranged a taxi to the hospital for me. Breakfast on the roof is a nice way to start the day. Overall very basic but hey it's India. Awesome location too! Would definitely stay again

When I checked in the room the walls were all peeling , I had to make several attempts to have sheets , toilet paper . the staff not very helpfull . the only good thing was good breakfast
