Comparing with other hostels of Delhi, this one is the best choice. The place is calm, prices are Indian. Directions to the hostel, however, impossible to apply :)) So, print a map before you'll start to Delhi. There is a great railway station between metro and Main bazar. So one should cross it using the railway bridge.

Certainly not the cleanest place I've stayed, but not too bad, except the room next to me smelled awful (like mold and urine...). My room was fine though. Staff was friendly enough, and I thought the tours they offered were decently priced. Great location. Close to the metro, and the market is entertaining.

I'd recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Delhi. Rooms are basic as are the facilities however, this is more than made up for by the staff. They were helpful throughout my stay, especially when i was ill. They gave me all the help i needed and more. If you are traveling to India for the first time you should really consider this place.

Our stay at Smyle was fantastic. When we arrived they did not have the room we had booked so they offered us a room that typically goes for a much higher price and let us stay there the entire four days (rather than moving us to cheaper room) for the original price. It was incredibly clean and the location was great. When we left Smyle I overpaid the man by several thousand rupees (it was 5am :)) and realized later. They actually contacted me and got the money to my friend in Delhi! Great place

Wouldn't stay here again. It is expensive for what it was. The towels in my room were wet when I got there. The sheets on the bed clearly hadn't been changed since the last person - there were hairs all through the bed and pillows. The blankets had white and brown stains on them (don't even want to know) and when I asked for a clean blanket I was given another stained one. The room was very dark, no natural light. And this was the 'deluxe' room!

Room damp and dark, but with hot shower. Good breakfast and obliging, helpful staff. 10 mins away from train station and airport pick up a good addition.

a little bit noisy at night but still acceptable because far away from the hassle of the main street, staff is friendly and nice, bedroom and bathroom are clean, linen and bed match the Asian standard.

Very basic. Breakfast at the 'rooftop terrace' included. Tried to sell us some tours which we didn't take. Checked out a day early because we didn't like Delhi. This was no problem at all. Also arranged an airport pick up, good. Bathroom not so clean. Room next to the reception was quite noisy. The staff is sleeping behind the desk.

Great location, clean and helpful staff who allowed us to change rooms because the TV did not work and also changed the internet router because the wifi wasn't working.

One of the only places that had wifi in the room. Clean and basic, but the rooms vary some have no windows- so make sure you see the room first. Hot water was good and reception offered support and advice- great value for price.

Wifi wasn't working when we got there but that wasn't the staffs fault. Hotel is in a good location in Delhi and it was quiet too because it was down an alley off the main road.

we stayed there twice when we were in India. the first time we stayed in a cheaper twin room (standard?) which was fine and good value for money i guess. the second time we stayed in a more expensive room that was very nice and definitely worth the extra money and it was still really cheap. the staff were really nice too and always tried to help us. they always booked taxis to the airport for us or pick-ups from the airport and it always worked out well. would definitely stay there again! thanks

Not very clean and also met some bed bugs here. Staff was doing the job, but not particularly friendly. But the good points were the hot shower and 24hours Wifi. And of course the price!

We booked an ac-room to use it as a heater, because the owner recommend it in other reviews, but it didn´t work, so we spend 3 nights freezing our asses of. I recommend to bring warm clothes if you are staying in January. Ok rooms and nice bathroom, but it´s not great value compared to other hostels we´ve stayed at in India. A big plus was the hot water.
