The directions to the Smyle Inn were a little difficult to follow at night as one of the landmarks- the red mosque- didn't look all that red or mosque-like. But we ended up being taken there by a local who was happy to show us. It was also not clear that there were 2 separate buildings, so at one stage I thought we'd been taken to a different place by the same name (which is known to happen in India).

So close to the train station which is very handy. The free breakfast is also a great feature! Really appreciated the travel agency being right in the hostel - arriving in Delhi for the first time and trying to piece together what to do in India -especially the train schedules is daunting - so having someone there for suggestions and help is great. I would definitely stay here again - if for nothing else - the ease of it!

Even though this hostel is designed to meet the lower budget market ,it doesn't represent value for money. There are other hotels within the same area that are only a few dollars more expensive per night but are vastly superior. We were there in January and found the rooms and bedding far too cold. Although we'd booked for 4 nights we only stayed 1. Generally the staff were not particularly friendly or nice and the whole place was a bit dark and depressing.

It\'s much better than expected in terms of good price (breakfast included even @11 a.m.), good location (near to train station), good services (airport pickup), good staff (helpful in direction) and good facilities (hot water, wifi) except a bit noisy sometimes at night due to barking dogs and a bit smelly tap water probably due to the water pipeline system.

Love the wifi service there, through not really stable. A nice facility for having free internet next to reception. And the breakfast is good. Not easy for us to find the exact location of the hostel because it locates at the small lane. I suggest hostel to put up a sign on the road of Main Bazaar. However, it closes to New Delhi Station and New Delhi Metro - 500m (people can go to the airport by riding on airport express). Many thanks for friendly and helpful staff.

Was a decent place to stay for the price we paid. Bit disappointed as it was only 1 degree\'s in delhi so really cold so we had to pay extra for a fan heater which only just heated the room. The shower hot water will only work sometimes and had to make several requests. Apart from that its an okay place for what you pay for is what you get.

The airport pick up worked out well and they have a travel desk where u get good deals for tours, flights and train tickets. we are on a rajasthan tour right now booked via the hostel and it"s great.

Great hostel. 'Deluxe' suite had a rennovated bathroom - a welcome change for India! Clean, simple, but would stay again for sure! Breakfast wasn't much though ...

Depending on your needs, the location can be good. It's essentially in Old Delhi which can be overwhelming. Not the safest area, but 8 min walk to train station. The manager and concierge (travel desk) were helpful, but the others were not. Decent wifi, cable, computers, and free breakfast. My bathroom smelled horrendous due to the drains. Even keeping the door closed didn't help. Ground and third (4th) floors are very loud bc of other guests. Avoid those if possible.

Nice place but owner made us wander the city for 4 hours because we needed to check in early (flight arrived at 5am). Wandering around Old Delhi at 6am is not fun and we couldve used a bit of generosity. Otherwise hostel is fine.

Don\'t expect luxury. staff were very friendly. we booked superior room but don\'t know what the difference was. rooms were on clean side. for $10 a night not bad value. would stay again without being excited about it.

My stay at the Smyle Inn was exactly what I needed: an oasis of calm in the bustle of Old Delhi, especially since it is in the heart of the Main Bazaar. The manager was always welcoming, Ali the travel-guru helped me find trains around the country and the facilities were great - particularly the fact that the Wi-fi works in all the rooms (at least, both of the rooms I stayed in) Great stuff guys! :)

is not simple to find a good hostel in Old Delhi, specially if you arrive nightime, and for first time in India. But this is a good hostel inside the old bazaar, don\'t be scared about the old and little street because the staff is very helpfull and friendly. bathroom was clean and there was hot water. free internet and breakfast, worth to go.

The acommodations is basic but nice and clean. Rooms are different - some of them are renovated others migh not be so nice. The staff is helpful and we were grateful for their help with purchasing the train tickets and booking acommodation in other cities. Free breakfast is included. The hostel is close to railway station and important sights. The area of Main bazar is very "Indian", chaotic and dirty. Other hotels in Delhi that we saw were more expensive but not nicer.

Generally, my stay has been good and the staff is really helpful. One minor comment is the clanliness of the towel which was quite dirty.

This hotel is literally 5 minutes walk from the main train station, ideal for anyone with large amounts of luggage. It may be a little difficult to find on arrival if you are not in a taxi. If travelling from the airport they can arrange a taxi pick up, you will pay a little more but helps to get you to grips with frenetic Delhi. Rooms were nice with TV. Ask for their new hotel as it is quieter and only a few feet from the original. Wifi worked well, tourist desk was fantastic and booked all our trains for
