Very nice place and very friendly staff. The shower is hot and the beds are comfortable and in cozy rooms. The security is very good, they close the hotel down pretty early (normal for Darjeeling) so after a night out with friends, we came back around 12:30 pm and the hotel was closed! We had to knock for a very long time before being let in. Besides this problem, it is a very nice place to stay. I loved the character and the staff!

A nice welcoming hostel in a great location, 5 mins walk to the station and to a group of restaurants, tea houses and bars. Friendly staff offering hearty breakfasts. The room was large and tastefully decorated, but it was a little too cold at night - you could rent an electric heater for r200 - Hot water was not always working and the place was prone to power cuts (they did have a generator). We would certainly stay there again albeit in a warmer season.
