Really great bar and happy hour. Good walking tour, but the shower area is far from the rooms.

I Lines my stay St Snuffel. I've spent there 4 nights and really liked it. It is cozy and well worth it's money. Of cause there some serious problems - 1) noise, the rooms are above bar and at night the noise is awful, but I was so tired t didn't care 2) there was only 1 electrical socket for 6 people in the room 3) who makes mixed showers for men and woman in a hostel? But if you're young, like parties, are active and not shy that's a nice hostel to stay in. Oh! And they give awesome maps!

It was quite strange having to walk through the kitchen and outside for a shower but the staff were amazing.

The reception is not 24 hours like the website says, so I came at 7am and it was raining, but even this the staff didn't let me in to wait inside. I was frustrated cause I was really cold and thought that I could wait inside to check-in, but had to wait in a bus stop (everything was closed, it was a sunday) till 9am to get in.

It was a very nice hostal because all the atmosphere you have there, like the mini bar an the entrance of the hostel, even the bartenders. The wifi was not that great, but even though you have wifi. The breakfast was included so it was awesome.

In a 4 bed dorm that meant going through an 8 bed dorm to get to so essentially felt like you we're in a cupboard off main dorm. Showers downstairs through the bar. Good breakfast.

The great place to stay in Brugge. The bar on the ground floor is an awesome idea - locals and tourists in the same place. People are wonderful there! Had a great time in Snuffel Hostel in particular and in Brugge in general.

Amazing hostel. My favorite so far. P.J. the bartender is the best. Highly recommend!

I love this place and have stayed here before. The staff are great, the bar is awesome, and the lockers with electrical plugs inside are genius. I have and will continue to recommend this place to all my friends

Very friendly staff. The rooms are allright, except for the shower (it’s a bit hard to shower when you need to push the water supply constantly). The bar downstairs gives the hostel a lot of character and the breakfast in the morning is simple but nice. Since this place is only a 10 minute walk from the centre, the location is perfect. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to everyone who doesn't need a lot of luxury and likes to have a bar directly downstairs with Belgian beers!

Fantastic hostel, great location and atmosphere, most of the staff were really helpful (one was quite grumpy, ut e eryone has their bad days) bar downstairs got quite loud, but thats go be expected, didn't bother us at all on the 2nd floor. I think my only gripe would be the lack of lockers in the dorms, only in a seperate locker room. Having said that nothing got stolen, just left our bags out of site under the bed! would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone

Absolutely loved this hostel!! the staff was unbelievably friendly and fun! The 1 euro beer nights are so fun!! I met so many great people at this place!! I did not expect to have so much fun in the small town of Brugge! I traveled with my one friend who is 30 (she had never stayed at a hostel before) and her only complaint was the unisex shower room. In my opinion the shower was amazing despite the pull cord.

Great environment, there is a cool bar on the mainfloor. Breakfast was great and the staff was really helpful. The hostel's free walking tour was a joke however, avoid it at all costs. The showers are also very inconvenient, you must go downstairs, through the bar, outside then into another building. Overall, good hostel.

If you want to meet friendly backpackers and staff - stay at Snuffel. If you want a very clean and very comfortable stay, Snuffel may not be the place. For me, though, the good certainly outweighed the bad: I met tons of amazing people and thoroughly enjoyed the social atmosphere here. I would definitely stay here again. Just don't expect the most comfortable beds or pillows, or the cleanest bathrooms. And as I'm sure you've read, you have to go through the bar to get to the showers! ;-)
