A modern hostel in a good location. Staff was polite, everything clean. Bunk beds too noisy. At the the time I was there, a group of Americans were doing party and being very laud almost all night long. But it is not fault of the hostel. I would go there again, it is worth for the money.
Great hostel, good location near night market. Not much of an atmosphere, but a nice hostel.
Super clean, safe, comfortable and modern. Felt like a European hostel in the middle of Chang Mai. The location is near the night club, thai wild side stuff. So close to the night market, china town, and just outside the old city. Lovely washing area with a full kitchen and fridge to use in a modern building with 24hour staff. Mostly fun young travellers on the way to treks or passing through. Would stay again for sure.
Unfortunately I have no good memories of this hostel. The common bathroom was always dirty and very uncomfortable. The A/C in the room worked poorly and the internet signal does not reach. The staff is unfriendly to provide information and help with the needs.
The location is great that one can find many pubs and restaurants near the hostels. However, the staff in the front desk weren't so helpful that they didn't care much about their customers. Also the lock of the room was not well-maintained that it couldn't be locked one night that we were asked to change our room immediately. We felt quite disappointed with this hostel.
the internet keep dying. the staff at the front desk were not so helpful with information on the area. they did like to look at there phone alot.
Rooms are spacious and a locker provided for each bed. Within walking distance to the nightly markets and roughly 10mins from sunday markets. Only down side is the staff who are less than helpful. Plenty of tour operators close by who are more than helpful advising on trips
Modern and nice. Toilet and shower aren't the cleanest but are still good. Showers are amazing. Good place overall

Huge hostel so there are lots of other travellers to meet. Good security, cleanliness etc. Better than other places I stayed in Chiang Mai. I would recommend.
Soo decent place to stay, bathroom r not clean did find a few bugs in my shower (centipede), staff are not friend but will point you in the right direction, the worse is the male receptionist, everyone seemed to have a problem with him very rude. Average rating
Modern clean and a great place to see all the city, staff are the only real issue.
Great security. Staff were not friendly or particularly helpful. Much cheaper to book Eagletrack Zipline and other tours from the many travel agencies along the road. Good beep from the door to welcome you home (Seriously, worth it). Easy to locate, and good food (especially nutella/banana rotee from across the road). ok bars (but mostly for older people) but easy walk to better bars towards the main square. Clean, but torn sheets, bad mosquito protection and permanent sewer smell in bathroom
Staff is very unhelpful whether it comes to directions or trying to setup tours, they were also not very knowledgeable about getting to places outside the city, and mostly indifferent to extra attempts at help. Bit of a walk into the main area of the city. Very Old School hostel, pay everything up front and charge for basically all amenities, leading to a real lack of flexibility in travel plans, also fines for anything you can think of are listed everywhere.
Great vibe, perfect for backpackers, very clean, helpful staff and close to everything.

This hostel is a place I would stay again. The elevator is super because I had luggage. The staff are not that friendly, but are helpful enough. Great location and I felt safe there.
The only plus for SOHO is the standard bed with plug in, light and locker and free WIFI. Other then that the staff at the reception makes you feel like:"Sorry i asked you!" They're not friendly. The hostel has no good vibe to it. Showers and toilets were cleaned daily but just to a minimum. Staff would change Sheets in the morning before checkout time at 12pm and disturb the other people, regardless if they're awake or asleep. I won't go back there and i totally do not recomend this place.
The infra instructure of this hostel is excellent, but some points need to be revised. Toliet supports are absent, they dont provide the toilet paper properly they don't change the sheets (I had read it before & I hadn't believed in that until I get my bed. It was a bed menstruation from the girl the night before. I asked for another bed, they refused and said that the cleaner was going to clean that) They don't sweep the floor, the toilets seem to be cleaned each 3 da They can be friendlier.
The building is nice but the staff is realy bad! They don´t care about you... You have to pay (and so much) for everthing!
Please be more friendly.
