The owners need to stay at their own hostel for a couple of nights to see that this place has potential to be one of the best in the world. Staff clearly didn't care about guests and they are the reason we didn't check back in (chose Absolute Asia 2mins down the road next to 7-11, huge dorm

Clean, new, crisp and spacious but lacks atmosphere and personality. Beds are comfortable and rooms spacious and air conditioned but showers are small, a little difficult and low water pressure with coolish water. Great location.

Love this place. Very modern, actually has a kitchen, great view of the temple across the street. Did have my kindle stolen here, but probably my own fault for getting complacent and not locking it up in the locker they give you.

Great hostel, good AC, 6 bed dorm was pricey but still a good value. Hostel is walking distance from backpacker bars and east gate.

I stayed here for songkran and had an amazing time! The hostel is very large, the staff was nice, and its clean! The location is the best part of the hostel! You can walk everywhere!!!

Great hostel if you want to meet a lot of people and party--felt like a college dorm. VERY LOUD. the ladies at the front were not very helpful--when we asked for them to call us a cab, they refused and said they only had one driver and that he was too busy. shelves in the showers would be nice. The AC works really well.

I'm not too sure who has been writing these ludicrous reviews but after my stay I'm convinced that it's a blind little person. Other than the random chance of meeting other fun travelers, our overall stay here was dismal. Rooms were small, staff (save for the older staff members) were quite off-putting and the bathrooms! Are you kidding me, shower stalls were tiny, and someone had puked all over a toilet and it wasn't cleaned for two days. Location was decent but you can get better.

I found most staff quite helpful and friendly when organising trips. The rooms were nice and spacious but the bathrooms could be cleaned more often. There is also very little place to put your belongings while showering. Bring insect repellent because there were mosquitos in the bathroom and bedroom but I think it's the same for most places in chiang mai.

Such a disappointing hostel. The bathrooms were consistently dirty, really disgustingly so. There seemed to be plenty of housekeepers but they spent all their time sitting down at tables playing on their phones. The design is terrible and not thought out at all. Bathrooms have no changing area, space to put toiletries or leave things while you shower. No toilet paper in stalls. No doing to bathroom so can see in from corridor meaning no privacy. Rude, unhelpful staff. Annoying wifi system.

Rooms were clean. Bathrooms could have been cleaned more often. Fantastic hostel but was a little disappointed wen they charged us to use showers after we checked out. Staff were very helpful when it came to organizing activities.

Nicely built, staff needs some warming up though (it's new). Not the most social hostel I've ever been to, but it can get pretty fun on the right night.

Would recommend this hostel for those travelling to stay here! Good location, rooms were pretty big and toilets etc were good too! Hot showers!! We did have to ask for the bathrooms to be cleaned as they did get quite grubby! But overall a really nice hostel and good for the money!

Wanderful! This coud be the best hostel in the world. Totally new and clean. Big rooms and common spaces. The only smal problem is the wifi password system, you must log in every time with a non easy code!!

Great hostel. V. clean. Varied types of people! Nice location either turn left to go to old town or right to night bazaar! We stayed one night in a cheaper hostel up the road, it was filthy but we rushed back to Sohostel the next morning!! Stayed another 2nights! Only issue was no door covering entrance to shower room so people could see in! Bloke on the front desk couldn't raise a smile but all other blokes and women lovely and helpful!! Definately worth staying here!! Shame no bar here.
