I would love to write something positive, but thats very hard to do, because these are the facts: when we arrived we only get a code which opens the door to our room, that made me feel quite insecure, in the hallway and in our room it stinked I couldnt breave, the bedclothes were dirty and old, the heater didn't work, the windows couldn't be closed, the kitchen was dirty, 90% of the people who stayed there where men in their 50s who seemed to be homeless people...worst hostel I ever stayed in!

e were satisfied fully with the loacrtion, staff and facilities. Only one thing was unpleasant: the party in the neighbours mixed room. They had been chatting loudly and dancing till 1-00 in the morning. A complaint to the manger on duty sorted this swiftly

Me and my boyfriend stay alot and have been abit angry with the price keep changing n having to kpve from room to room because of it . Wish the price could just stay the same for everyday and we didnt have to keep moving from day to day all week long to accommodate our budget. Apart from that its a nice vibe. Cool people from all over the world and its a nice place to stay for short term.

It is always very noisy in there. you guys gotta get the places carpetted from top the bottom. since floors and stairs are all wood.. you can hear every single person going up and down and walking around and it makes it hard to sleep with that noise

Ok firstly. Get yr kitchen cleaned. It's filthy ! Give at least some cheapo shower gel in shower room and have a hairdryer in reception to rent out. Most other hostels do!

Nice, and not too far out the way, but not close. Very good for the price range.

The facilities in this hostel were barely acceptable. Many of the fridges were broken and out of use, stacked with old, smelly food past their used-by date. Toilets were clean but small and decrepit looking. For Saturday night i was charged 30 quid, other places comparable hostels are only around 10 quid and have a proper hostel feel and set up. Also the hostel is located in Hove, not Brighton which is 25 minutes walk away. Poor experience in the hostel, but Brighton is awesome itself.

This hostel is clearly run with profit as the central aim and priority. The atmosphere matches the decor, cold, minimal and focused on cost saving. Came back to the room at 10 pm to find that all the electric had been turned off , lady on the reception was excellent but I felt we were messed around by the hostel as a whole. This hostel has no charm and is clearly focused on getting as much money out of you as possible. The easy jet of hostels.

This is the 3rd time my wife and I have used this hostel. It is well situated to explore Brighton and it is clean and well-run. If necessary, we will happily return to use it again.

If you are looking for a place to sleep with a roof over your head then this is the place to go. It has a nice enough common area with couches and a nice kitchen area. Staff are great

I booked a private room. On checking-in, my room had 2 bunks; it was dreary and did not resemble the inviting pictures displayed online. The room was directly above reception and common area and therefore very noisy all night long! Checking-out before 10am and wanting to store my bag was a hassle because the reception only opens at 10. Otherwise, good location and the shower/toilet were spotless!!

he hostel was clean, in a good location with efficient and friendly staff. The layout of the hostel however meant it was not very social and there did not seem to be many hostel-led activities going on

Whenever I asked for a hairdryer or when I wanted to check out, they always knew what I wanted and they were being so polite, friendly and just happy. They really do love hosting you. I even forgot my phone in the room I was staying in, but a nice other guest found it and Sobo Hostel happily sent it after me on the same day it was found.

Cool common area, big kitchen. The bunk beds were not the rickety or 3 tier type! I only ever saw on person in the bathroom when i was in there (saturday)... i guess thats a good thing. ). My room was quiet and comfortable. All in all i really good stay
