I found and killed two bed bugs within the first hour of staying in the dorm room. If you're willing to ignore that, it's more of a hotel than a hostel, you meet some people but certainly no party. Bathroom was ok and clean but not new. No lockers. You get a key for the building entrance so you can get back anytime you wish. Reception hours were limited and slightly different from those stated on this website.
I had a problem with ventilation .Unfortunately one of the rooms I stayed in was adjacent to a neighbour's bathroom and therefore was a victim to the smell. Kindly check on ventilation, otherwise the place was lovely. Secondly could you please facilitate access to internet perhaps on one computer. The elevator stopped working at some point. Kindly check on maintenance.

Well located hostel. It actually feels more like a hotel. It does not have a kitchen, no wi-fi in the and the lunge room closes after 9:00 PM. It is impossible to interact with other people in this hostel. If you are willing to meet other people, this is definitely not the right place for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a nice room to just rest, this is the right place for you. They also do not serve breakfast, neither provide coffee or tea. Just accommodations, basically.
Fantastic location , very clean , nice bathrooms . Good place to sleep if you're not sharing room with snorers . Would have rated higher if there were lockable lockers , computer and stairwell was adequately lighted .
Beds were nice because they weren't bunk beds. No lockers but I felt secure in a four bed room. Room was clean. Had to wait dor bathroom because there's only one on the floor. Staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable of surrounding area. I didnt know where to go once I got inside the building, I figured out I had to climb stairs but I couldn't find the light so I climbed three flights in the dark. No wifi in the rooms, but there's a couple chairs in the lobby if you need to use wifi.
Good prices for good room options. Private rooms are not overpriced, the sheets and towels are clean, and the location is convenient.
convenient, good hostel for good money but with shortcomings by the lack of a refrigerator and an iron
The staff it's really friendly (and English speaking). The location it's excellent (in front of Pallazzo Pitti). The room was big and very clean. We stayed at the beginning of October but still we had mosquitoes in the room. It's hard to find it with out reading first about the way they have the numbers on the street (with blue for the hotels and houses and with red for restaurants and boutiques). Free WiFi only at the reception (not in room). Good option overall.
The hotel is in an excellent location right across from Palazzo Pitti on the 2nd floor. Great for walking around the older city, and not too far from the Porto Romana (1/2 km) where one can find parking for around 20 Euro a day. The elevator was really small so don't bring more than you can carry. The room we had was a very large rebuild state apartment living room with a bathroom added in the corner. A bit odd and a bit noisy but OK for the price. Via Romana has supermarkets and nice cafes.
The biggest issue is finding the hostel without a map. Also the sign for the hotel is so small that its very easy to miss. However, my stay was super comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Best to stay during the months that do not require an aircon.
This was perfect for my stay in Florence! As a female in my twenties traveling alone, I had to book a double to get a private room. I ended up with an entire apartment with an adorable bedroom with a lofted bed, bathroom, kitchen and living/dining areas! It was a little more of a walk from the Duomo and other tourist sites, located directly in front of Palazzo Pitti, but I felt very safe and there were plenty of restaurants, shops and bars just steps away. Overall, had a great stay!!
Good location and friendly staff. Shower in upstairs toilet has to be held in your hand as it not able to be suspended from wall, this makes washing your hair difficult. Other toilet- the light was not working, meaning I had to shower in the dark. My room, above the downstairs bathroom was very noisy- could hear people using and flushing the toilet throughout the night which did not make for a peaceful night's sleep.
Great location but a bit noisy. Great breakfast! The reception is very small, but rooms are big and comfortable.
Basically a place to sleep. No kitchen or laundry, but there's laundry about 5-10 minutes up the road. Common room is small and has the reception in it, so no one really goes inside. Good if you have a group, not the best if you're solo.
Good option overall.. but I felt as if I were in a hotel. I'd recommend it though.
Excellent location and good facilities. Amazing view from our window and private balcony! ! The lift is quite small and sometimes won't come due the the doors being left open. But the climb to the 7th level was good for exercise. Free wifi in reception and even managed a weak signal in the room.
Nice place. I stayed two nights in a 4-bed-mixed dorm. It was very clean, and I can recommend it. Location is great since it is on piazza Pitti. A favorite place in Firenze. The staff was helpful. Best access to wi-fi at the reception floor (3rd floor), but it was good on 5th floor as well. I defenitely reccomend it.
Fantastic location, good clean rooms. Only downsides was no kitchen facilities but if your wanting to eat out thats fine.
Great location near city center, in front of the Piazza Pitti. Very clean hostel, rooms, & bathroom. No air conditioning, so it was quite hot, but they supplied a fan which kept me cool just fine (don't open the windows at night unless you want all the mosquitos to come in). The common area is great, except that it closes at 9:00pm, so there's no place to hang out late at night. In general a decently priced hostel that was fine just for a clean place to stay (I stayed 2 nights).
