The location is what makes this place so great- it's fantastically placed. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was clean and always available. My only complaint would be that it seemed if anyone in Florence ran water, the pipe went through our room and it was ridiculously loud, but that's just one of those things. Also, the first night our air conditioning was turned on upon request, but second night we were told it'll cost 10 euros per night, which seems a bit steep.

The lift system was a little troublesome, especially if someone fails to close the lift door at the top floor, then we have to walk all the way up to the top of the apartment. Apart from that, the apartment was beautiful, with good shower and bed facilities. It would be good if the airconditioner could be switched on, because we were stung by mosquitoes in the night and it would have been better if we could close the windows and turn on the airconditioner instead. Overall great staff and place.

Fantastic place to say! Very clean, quiet and with a reasonable price! Our room was huge, with two single beds and two couches in it...so very nice to stretch out and relax in. the manager was very nice and helpful, giving detailed directions to places to go in Pisa, as well as how to get there! A bus stop is just down the street & the bus comes every twenty minutes to take you to the city center, and there is a grocery store a few blocks away as well. Would highly recommend if you stay in Pisa!

Nice lounge area, but the most important thing is that the beds are INFESTED WITH BED BUGS!! at least the shared dorm room, on the 5th floor, has a bed bug problem. I stayed two nights, and starting the evening of the day I checked out, the bites started showing and swelling all over my face, neck, arms, and hands. terrible itch and scared I brought some bugs with me in my bag. never had trouble with bed bugs until now but be aware!! they are nasty and hard to get rid of.

Nice central spot within walking distance to most things close to train station and not too close! Staff were pleasant and helpful, access was easy with own keys so we could come and go.:) good price for the area and time of season, would recommend to others Regards A Murdoch

Staying right in front of the Palazzo Pitti was great. the room was fine and the ultra-narrow Elevator was an experience. I am glad I stayed there.

very nice hostel with comfortable stay. Totally value for money. But one thing is the room is a bit dry (dehydrated) for me even the heater is off.

The single room I got there was like a jail cell, but I still felt comfortable and it was clean. The double room I got, however was miraculous. It was very spacious, had a couch and the bathrooms are always very well kept and clean. I had a very pleasant time and I would definitely recommend this place for couples and family and people who want quiet. The only flaw was that there was only wifi on one floor, so you have to hope to be lucky and get a room on the reception floor.

Loved this place! Beautiful and in a great part of Florence. The only thing, they don't give you towels during your stay, but the staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Rooms were really nice and clean. Staff isn't always there, but they are mostly around. Really nice, although they don't go out of their way to help. Not really a "hostel" atmosphere, more like a B&B (minus the breakfast), but really nice, quiet rooms. And also a very good value for the money. Certainly have no complaints.

This was more like a hotel/b&b. I really enjoyed my stay here because it was near the end of my trip and actually really nice to have my own room after being in 8+ people dorms. But if you are looking for a place to meet lots of people or party, this is not the hostel for you, much more tailored towards families and couples.

Soggiorno Pitti has a great location, slightly away from all the touristy places, but still less than a 10 minute walk from most of the sights. The beds were comfortable. The tub in the bathroom was a little old and dirty, but other than that, it was a cool place to stay.
