The reception is not 24 hrs and you only got to know this fact when you were standing outside their door. The receptionist only came until late in the morning and did not feel sorry at all when we complained about waiting so long. The male receptionist really got an attitude problem!Tiny little room with double bed and shared bath room just outside the room which is not bad. Great location though just across the street to Pitti Palace. Oh, no wifi in the room!

Excellent hostel - really enjoyable stay and lovely staff. Brilliant location.

I don't recommend this hostel. The location is good, but the rest is terrible. You have to pay more for the towels, the city tax, the air-conditioner, the Internet, the breakfast, etc. We reserved room with private toilet but actually it was not private. The elevator didn't work. The room was noisy and not so clean.

Fantastic. GREAT reception / communal area, location is central, staff are incredibly helpful and fluent in english, beautifully clean. Rooms were very good. Generally excellent in every aspect. Got back yesterday and have already recommended it to two friends. IF YOU'RE GOING TO FLORENCE: STAY HERE!!

It is a very decent place. It is clean and well kept. The location cannot be any better!!! I would characterize the staff as professional (which is rarely the case with hostels). They only charged me 1 EURO per towel. I definitely recommend this hostel. I would return to it myself.

The night we came our 5 bed room was already occupied so we got to stay in a 2 bed room for the sameprice. Then we stayed in a 5 bed room of 2 beds were really queeky making noises everytime you moved.As it was very hot in florence we had to keep the window open at night, during which time we were bitten by many mosquitos + there was an aircondition on the terrase in front of our window which was really loud and disturbing- it belonged to someone private. The bathroom was ok.

I like to atmosphere of this hostel. Nice dinning room. but if there were private lockers would be much better.

This was not a hostel - it was a 1* hotel! No atmosphere, breakfast £4 (no mention of extra) + no lockers. What I was to do with my valuables? I was told to carry them with me. In the unfortunate circumstance of being robbed you would have nothing. Staff's English was poor - another guest translated. Only one minging bath and toilet to the floor. The room surrounded an internal courtyard, which amplified everything from the annoying pigeons to the horny couple! Never again will I stay here!

Good location, smelly bathroom. Save money if you want aircondition. Rotten ceiling. The smallest elevator known to man. If it was any smaller, flies could not go in.

Really nice hostel! Best of all my stay in different cities of Italy and unmistakably the best valued!

Location was perfect for the major attractions, supermarket nearby was cheap, restaurants in close proximity. Most of the city can be reached very easily by foot. Room was small, just a bed really, no air conditioning-unbearably hot even at night (although we were in a cheaper room) we didn’t want to spend time in the room because of this. No internet facilities, breakfast, or drinking water, which although not obligatory are often great extras for a hostel. 3 nights max recommended.

The hostel has a good location, it is pretty easy to reach there. On the other hand, the rooms are small and dirty. Staff are very friendly, they helped us with everything. Still think again if you plan to stay here

A great place to stay, very close to centre of florence. WiFi wasnt great but the cleanliness made up for it
