We enjoyed our stay at Soho hostel. The staff was very helpful answering questions and even lending us a map. Soho is in a very good location (very close to Taksim Square) for shopping and nightlife and was very cheap. We stayed in a small 9 person room but it was still very good for the price!

The location of the hostal was good, but it was very dirty and there was just one toilet for the whole hostal and two showers. Sheets were dirty and the price of the rooms was too high compared to the quality.

The owner of the hostel speaks an excellent English and French ! He his very nice and will provide you good advices for visiting Istanbul. The place is a little bit noisy, but that's Beyoglu area ! It's a very nice place to start all your Istanbul trips. We recommend that place for international backpack travelers.

This hostel is very nice for the money you pay for. It has sattelite tv at the common area where you can whatch everything. The only thing i didnt like so much is that the 9 person dormitory room that i stayed is very small room for 9 persons. If the same room was a 6 person it will better but for its price i think its good. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The where lockers to secure your personal things and thats good.

i stayed in a 9 bed dormitory. the room is too small for 9 dormitory, i think it would be much better if it was 6 bed dormitory instead of 9, because when it full then the room full of suitcases and difficult for people who stay there to move. the staff is helpful, and he will answer any question about getting around Turkey. and the location is excellent, it is just close to everywhere such as bars, clubs, restaurants, hammam etc.

Rock bottom prices, but you get what you pay for. 3 level bunk beds squeezed right next to each other in a tiny, stuffy room. There was a wad of gum on my bed frame. No breakfast, no coffee/tea - it's a very basic set up. HOWEVER the staff is extremely nice and friendly, they let you keep your stuff there even after checkout, and it's right off Istiklal, right in the middle of the nightlife.
