The girls dorm had flooded when I arrived so I ended up in a small room with only two others. So it was really quiet and the common room virtually never had anyone in it. But the facilities are nice.

Great location. Toilets, showers and kitchen always clean. No cups to drink out of though? And almost every night people were being very loud till at least 4am. They stopped when asked though, just seems like there's no rules (or respect). All in all very good value for money and thanks to the guy with long hair and glasses for helping my friend to hospital, you're a legend!

Me and my friend had a lovely stay at Sokolska youth hostel. We stayed for four nights and we were happy with the facilities. Because we got up before anyone else, we had no problem with there being only two showers and one toilet. (There is a second toilet, but unfortunately that one couldn't be locked). The kitchen was nice. There were just enough plates and mugs for us to use, so that was great. Sadly, not everyone cleaned up after themselves, but that is of course not the hostel's fault.

The hostel has a welcoming feel for especially younger people which it is aimed towards. Great facilities including the kitchen to cook for yourself, plus a communal room where you are able to socialize. Bedroom causes no complaints, and there is generally a feeling of independence and freedom due to the lack of staff or regulations which will be great for some (including us of a group of 18 year old girls).

Not a bad hostel but the hostel is splitted on multiple flats so there isn't a good ambiance.

when we arrived there, it was quite scary, it was at the top of an apartment building and seemed quite dark, the lights turned on through motion sensor, so they kept turning off. Saying that though, it was fine when we got used to it, the rooms were great. Only about 3 toilets and showers though. Never had to wait, but unsure if that was only because it wasn't busy when we visited. Still; didn't regret the visit, good hostel.

Keep in mind that the check in is after 2 pm. There is said to be a 24hs reception but it happened when we came to pick up our bags that there was no one there and we had to wait for some time. The staff was not really helpful and generally not welcoming. When we asked about some health care center we were told we had to go an hour out of town. That was surely not correct information. Besides that it was fine, not dirty and wifi was ok in the rooms (not great though).

Nice hostel, very clean, the location is ok with restaurants and bars near, the atmosphere is not bad! There's just a lady that cleans the hostel who is very rude, but nothing else to complain about!

When i reserved for this hostel i thought that could be a cool way to meet people, but when we arrived we understood that we made a mistake. people ignore you, and often don't even say " hello". the first night, ( we were next to the toilet), someone woke me up at 4h (morning) throwing up in the toilet, they don't care of you. An other night, a boy put the music at loud as he can,i request him to put it lower, this is what he did during 5 mn but do it again after ( it was 2h morning). no respect

Everything is alright. Just not as clean as I expected.

There are no lockers at this hostel which was very unfortunate. The desk offered to hold our valuables for the day, but they never locked the reception area in which they were to keep them. There are small lockers but not big enough for all valuables. The place looks like it could use some repair, but we managed to stay there fine.

Everything was perfect! Just please close the parking area with a door or something because it's scaring at night!!

This is actually a building with lots of rooms, each floor has its bathrooms and kitchen. It doesn't have a hostel "feeling", but the facilities were very comfortable, although a little old. The lights on the room are somewhat weak. The guys at the reception don't seem friendly at first, but they'll give you some good information - if you search for it. It's located some 10 minutes on foot from the train station, in kind of a shady neigbourhood, so beware. It's a good hostel, not more, not less.

The most impressive thing is: common room is really close to our rooms, so it is easy for people to gather, share, and talk. Very good atmosphere, especially for single traveler.

Well located, clean hostel with really good transport links. It is located on the top floor of an apartment/office block and the security for the actual hostel door is not great as people kept forgetting to close it. The rooms themselves are very secure and are all locked by personal key. It was really hot in the rooms but that was because it was 30 degrees outside when I stayed there. All in all, a good value hostel in the centre of Prague. Perfect for a couple of nights.

We lived in a very cosy room on the 5th floor and liked it a lot. Location is really good, just in 1 min walking to metro and in 10-15 mins to the center. The hostel is good overall. There were no living room so I can say the place is quiet in general, it looks more like a guesthouse than a hostel, but if you are interested in meeting new people you can chat with them in the kitchen. But I need to say showers were not that clean.

It is just a good hostel that is all.
