This was one of the dirtiest hostels I've ever visited - the staff at the front desk were extremely unhelpful, they had no tourist or backbacker information leaflets or maps, and the list of amenities on this website was not correct. But, you get what you pay for / Este era uno de los hostals más sucios que he visitado - el personal de recepción era extremadamente non-servicial, no tenían nada información turística, y la lista de servicios en este sitio web no era correcto. Pero, era muy barato.

For it's price not bad. I've used the 14beds variantion, which means automaticly big line for a bathroom. All the night was really cold, even with the extra heating on. Lucky I had my sleaping bag with :D Personal is all from eastern europe. And the breakfast in the morning... Realy? Well there was a coffee, and toast bread, but dirty tumbler of a jam and no napkins :P

It is a great hostel and very good value for money! Clean, great location and helpful stuff! It was a bit cold though but heaters were provided!

I would never stay in this hostel again. The bathrooms stink, you are afraid catching yourself a disease using the toilets and when you leave the shower you might be dirtier than before. The kitchen has nothing whatsoever to prepare food, not even a sink, for that you have to go to the bathroom. Again it was dirty, you had no kitchen supplies like knives, plates etc., because the guests supposedly steal them. The breakfast was a joke, any hostel I stayed at so far was definitely better!

This is the best Hostel in Madrid for Museums, it`s the closest Hostel to the Museums, the Reina Sofia is 5 minutes away by foot, Prado 10 minutes away, Retiro Park 15 minutes away, it`s also very close to Lavapies 5 minutes, and Huertas Party zone, there is free breakfast, all night bar in the basement, beers one euro, big dorm rooms, the biggest in Madrid, so you are not in a Sardine Can type atmostphere, hot water all the time.
