This hostel ended up being GREAT! We had very little expectations going in because of the low price, but it gave us so much for our money. Breakfast was good and the location cannot be beat if you are looking for a beach-oriented trip. Plus, it is very close to many fun bars/restaurants/clubs. The staff was very helpful (in English!) and the luggage storage and shower allowed us to spend an extra day at the beach while waiting for our evening flight. Would definitely come back to this hostel!

Although I wasn't blown away by this place I think a bunch of the negative reviews were a bit overly critical. Honestly, you're getting what you pay for, and you aren't paying for much. The place wasn't super clean but it wasn't filthy. The directions they give on Hostel World could be better. Try this: When you take the bus from the airport and get off at the beach, walk back the way the bus came (north up the beach) and then you'll find Calle Almicar. Walk two blocks and it's on the left.

We reserved the twin ensuit room, it was very dirty and there was a sewage smell, when we requested a room change they we´re very unhelpful and had no other rooms available apparently. However, location was good very easy to get around and the breakfast was in the hotel next door and was lovely. In any case won´t be staying here again any time soon oh and if you are an erasmus student you do get a 10% discount.

I really enjoyed the stay. The people were so nice and funny and I will come back for sure.

We booked a stay for 10 in then hostel, but it was full when we arrived so we were moved to the hotel down the street. The front desk people, especially Maria, were super friendly and helpful in regards to all of our questions about the bus , and the free breakfast was also a pretty sweet surprise. It did get pretty chilly at night and the rooms didn't seem to be heated particularly well, so either bring more clothes or ask for blankets, which is what we did. A good deal for the price.
