Bad: if there is a hole in the wall of your room, there should be a window as well or at least something to lock your things in. First hostel where i had to leave the building, while they cleaned the rooms. Good: Very central, offering surfcourses, the staff is very nice, friendly and helpfull and last but not least: the breakfast included is great. Coffee, tea, milk, cereals, cheese, ham, bread, yougort and so on. loved it!

The Sol y Mar has great location and character with a friendly, sociable atmosphere between the guests. Unfortunately I had a few issues with the owner and receptionist, the way that I was spoken to left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which put a dampner on my holiday overall. I had a single rom for 4nights. this was not cleaned during my stay, and my towel was not changed. There were also a high number of mosquitoes in the hostel, which I was informed was unusual for Corralejo.
