ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Best deal I've ever found on Hostelworld. Boutique house right in town, with an owner the townspeople love. The rooftop, complete with fire pit, is a serene place to hang out & hear donkeys, roosters, cats, dogs, and call to prayer. Fully stocked kitchen with fresh bread and vegetables each day. We had the house to ourselves; there is the potential to be sharing the house with strangers. Trust that adventurous budget travelers tend toward honesty, and go for it. Visit Siwa!

We would defenitely recommend you to stay at Siwa Villa. Penny, the houseowner is a very friendly and helpful host and the house is just gorgeous. We especially enjoyed the fire place on the roof.

I had been given directions to the villa, but actually bumped into Penny in the street buying bread for my stay. The villa is situated just a couple of minutes walk from the main square in Siwa and Penny quickly filled me in on the area, but after that left me to find out for myself, but was always available for a chat if needed. Tourism has taken something of a nosedive in Egypt recently, so if you are looking for somewhere of the beaten track, somewhere different in fact, this place should be

Staying at the Siwa Villa was just fabulous. Penny (owner) made us a warm welcome in Siwa. She also informed us about Sights and Places to visit in Siwa and around. We really liked the western standard Siwa-Guest-house and would like to come back soon. Just a great place to hang out, explore and enjoy.
