We only stayed one night at this hostel and that was more than enough. The room was a complete mess and had long term guest staying in there. The toilet door didn't close properly and the window had a big piece of wood over it where it had been smashed. The shower looked as though it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The 'quiet after 10pm' rule was ignored by pretty much 80% of the people in the hostel. Had no sleep here and was glad to leave. Avoid this hostel if you can.

Nice friendly staff. I have to give them that. Not so great with cleanliness. Stayed in room 31 which is a 6 dorm. The mattress and carpets had stains and the carpet looked very old and had a strange smell. All the windows were open due to this condition there is no air conditioning which is fine by me. But that meant every time someone was walking by or a plane flew by, it was loud. -kitchen has not enough pans. And the ones which were there. Were in an appalling condition.

Excellent staff, they all have genuin smiles on their faces and eager to help you out if needed. The rooms however weren't the best. People who stay here seems to stay for the long run, so therefore the rooms arn't clean, at all. The whole place is quite run down, but we did appreciate the big and many fridges, together with a lot of cookers in the kitchen, even if the kitchen it self is small you're still able to cook. The location is ok if you like walking, otherwise they do have a shuttle bus

HI Enrico. Can you please show me where it says we put free wifi and free breakfast on? I think you have made a mistake as we have never done this or had a complaint about this.

Staff was unfriednly, hostel was filthy, blitchen really gross on the evening, no real possibility to park your car (only on the street where you have to change places every 2 hours)

I stayed here for a week in the basic dorm. Really nice hostel, close to everything in the west end, only a short walk to southbank, however the hostel offer a shuttle service every hour to and from southbank. Everyone in the hostel staff and guests are really friendly an helpful. After traveling Aus for a year this is one of my fave hostels I've stayed in.

The staff is awesome but I was never so disrespected by the people in the room. Everybody leaves there, so they really don't care. They talk, do noises, smoke, turn the lights on even though there are 3 people sleeping! The location of the hostel in West End is good but it is in a very dark street, I was always afraid of going back late in the night alone.

Nice hostel with all the facilities you would expect just let down by the long term stayer which ruined the atmosphere and cleanliness of dorm rooms. Staff were really helpful and location in west end was perfect and only 10 minute walk to southbank.

Very pleasant and friendly environment. Lots of people doing working visa here so are long stay. Old building has a nice feel to it. Had to pay for WiFi and rooms are not that clean because people are literally living there.

Loved staying here with my sister in a private room. Parking is hard to find though but the night manager did help luckily. Quiet time is good on Friday night. But on Saturday night it isn't very noisy except when you have someone playing guitar loudly at the table outside your door lol. Perhaps having tables so close to rooms may not be that good for the people inside the rooms as we could barely hear our TV and were too scared to talk to them. Otherwise it was good. Probably would stay again.
