The premises are extremely tired. The grounds are dangerious in that the pathways i doubt they would pass a work place health and safety review by an Indenpendent organisation and would not be supprised to hear someone had faĺlen over and was seriously injured.

Good price to stay, everything not bad. Although it is a bit far from station(when you carrying baggage), but the hostel provides free bus to the station nearby every hour.

Good location. All amenities a backpacker needs. Friendly staff.

Loved this hostel, staff were very helpful and friendly. Good atmosphere and the facilities they have are great - especially the free BBQ on Wednesdays!

Hostel itself is ok - average on cleanliness, location and staff. Most people staying at this hostel seem to be long-term guests who don't particularly make an effort with others. The police were called one night due to a guest being disorderly. If you don't like cats or are allergic this is not an ideal place as there is almost always one cat in the kitchen. Would stay again as it's cheap but you could probably stay somewhere with nicer guests for a better experience.

Good hostel for the money. A bit far from CBD but the hourly shuttle helps with that! Very chill and relaxed place. Stayed for longer than I thought! Friendly staff, close to bars in West End. I'd recommend it! Depends on what you're looking for in Brisbane-- just remember late at night it is a bit hard to get back home as the shuttle ends at 7pm but otherwise it's a great place to stay!

It seems like there's a lot of people living at the hostels which isn't a problem. My room was very messy. Don't understand how people can live like that. Having to step over people clothes to get to your bed! Toilets smelt, bathroom also dirty! Do they even have cleaners?? Glad I didn't arrive until late and only stayed for one night.

+ DVDs for rent, Netflix to use, PS3 for playing. Shuttle every hour to the city. - the next coles is a 20 m walk away, 30 minutes away from the city

The strong points for me were the free transportation that the hostel offers to some main points in the city, activities like monday pizza or free bbq in Wednesday.

Was suppose to stay for a week, but I was that disappointed in the place I only stayed for 3 nights till I found some where else. The room had one tiny window which didn't let any light or air in, had a fan but that was not much use as it was just blowing hot air. The sheets were made from nylon so you just sweated even more, the fridge had mouldy food contents which was probably there from months ago.

Booked this hostel as arrived in Brisbane very early. They picked me up from the station which was great. Staff are fantastic and they make the hostel a great place to stay. Has decent common areas and pool. Hammocks to lounge on but these are occupied by the ants most of the time. Booked a single room. Basic but was all that was needed. They have a shuttle bus which goes to the city every hour and takes you back. Monday night is pizza night 50 cent a slice!! What more could you ask for. Great!!

Unlike the other hostels in Brisbane this hostel has a social atmosphere with common areas to meet other travellers. Possibly one of the only byob hostels in Brisbane which makes it easy to make friends with cheep booze unlike bars in all the other hostels. The shuttle gets you to the center of the city and run regularly making the location not a problem.

Super chill hostel.. Nice to get away from the party scene. They had pizza night 50cents per slice which was pretty cool. Also a cool area to chill and watch movies.

It was sadly the worst hostel stay I had in the last 9 months of my travels. To start with, there was a misunderstanding with the shuttle pick up, which was not the end of the world, but was only made worse by an extremely unpleasant receptionist who checked me. The room was a complete mess, with other people's stuff scattered all over the floor and a dirty bathroom. On the plus side, the person checking me out was very friendly and the view from the terrace was gorgeous. Wouldn't stay again!
