Great facilities showers were superb BUT the doors on the single rooms were very noisy closing with a loud metallic clang unless you were very careful. Think it was something to do with the skylights n the air pressure. This did make for a restless night 's sleep.

Great atmosphere, very friendly people. No lockers, you have to rent cutlery and plates, the place smells a fair bit. Staff were helpful. Don't use the downstairs shower- it jumps between freezing and boiling!

Dirty rom and bathroom. Very messy kitchen. Friendly staff. Bus to town

Just a great bloody hostel! Great people, great location, always good movies and stuff playing if you want to relax, always nice people around if you want a chat or a drink. West End is a really great area too, so many great bars and cafes.

Facilities were being upgraded at the time but nice portaloos were in place. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing that was bad was a bunch of French students slamming every door and shouting to each other no matter the hour but a great location.

Way to much WEED is being smoked there

it is good for money.

We only stayed one night at this hostel and that was more than enough. The room was a complete mess and had long term guest staying in there. The toilet door didn't close properly and the window had a big piece of wood over it where it had been smashed. The shower looked as though it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The 'quiet after 10pm' rule was ignored by pretty much 80% of the people in the hostel. Had no sleep here and was glad to leave. Avoid this hostel if you can.

Best in Brisbane so far. Very nice atmosphere and people.

Nice friendly staff. I have to give them that. Not so great with cleanliness. Stayed in room 31 which is a 6 dorm. The mattress and carpets had stains and the carpet looked very old and had a strange smell. All the windows were open due to this condition there is no air conditioning which is fine by me. But that meant every time someone was walking by or a plane flew by, it was loud. -kitchen has not enough pans. And the ones which were there. Were in an appalling condition.

Excellent staff, they all have genuin smiles on their faces and eager to help you out if needed. The rooms however weren't the best. People who stay here seems to stay for the long run, so therefore the rooms arn't clean, at all. The whole place is quite run down, but we did appreciate the big and many fridges, together with a lot of cookers in the kitchen, even if the kitchen it self is small you're still able to cook. The location is ok if you like walking, otherwise they do have a shuttle bus

Great place, nice surroundings and very sociable

Big Love, thanks!
