One of the best hostel that I had ever been. The lockers had inside plugs, so you can leave your camera, ipod, etc charging without worry (I had been stolen in other hostel) So the security is great. The owners share a lot with the people, and organice great specials days, like "meet the locals", "spaguetti night", "naked night", really funny!

Best hostel I ve stayed in my life. Ultra helpful staff, great location, great value, comfy place, lots of free stuff....what else could you ask for?

the hostel is small/compact, but it doesn't mean its not good! in fact it's a very lovely one, it's like living in a big flat. great atmosphere, good to hang around and easy to meet ppl. staff are great too, Lena, Anja, etc being friendly and helpful all the time! and great offers from hostel, breakfast, wifi, free calls, laundry...they have a lot to give! totally loved my time being there. Thank you guys!

Very friendly staff Free food, free dinner, free help, free gift. Really cared about the travelers. Great for the price and Great people.

No wonder it's the best hostel in Russia! I guess it's the best hostel ever! You will get there fun & parties along with comfortable sleep with clean kitchen and bathroom. They made it possible!!! Cozy hostel with helpful and friendly receptionists offering tons of free additional features like pasta evenings, pancake tastings, meetings with the locals, free intl calls and so on,.. It is amazing and totally recommended! Thanks for the great time, guys!! I will be back for sure!

has only 2 WCs and 2 showers :( but free laundry and free calls can substitute that!

Soul Kitchen feels, as I also let them know in their guest book, more like a home than a mere hostel.

Really good and clean hostel, and really nice staff. Location excellent and atmosphere too. Maybe only really small minus was that there could be a better sign outside in the street. Although I could have read the instructions...

This is a lovely hostel. I would have loved to stay for longer. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and all of the amenities were better than your average hostel standard. I will definitely stay here again

Amazing hostel with fantastic staff and just a great vibe all round. Rooms are comfortable and warm. Location is smack-bang in the centre of town, literally walk everywhere from home. Social atmosphere with hosts providing dinners every now and then, owner is a DJ who takes you to nightclubs with him to party, freshly made waffles EVERY morning. Seriously, what's not to like?!

Really was the best hostel ever

The staff were wonderful and helpful, the rooms were lovely and the fellow visitors proved to be lovely and friendly. This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Free Russian pancakes were offered so we could try them, and waffles were available for breakfast, also free of charge. It was like staying with friends!

Had a great stay here. We were greeted by enthusiastic, friendly staff that spoke excellent English. Like many hostels in Russia, it's a large apartment that's been converted so it has a very homey feel. The room was colorful and well kept, the beds were comfortable enough, the bathrooms were in close quarters but clean. It was a great location if you're arriving by train, and an easy bus ride down Nevsky Prospekt to the main tourist destinations. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else.

I enjoyed very much my staying in the Soul Kitchen Hostel, has my 2 friends that stayed with me. Very clean, very cousy, very friendly! Loved the events in the evening, like the Pasta Dinner, Cookie tasting, just awesome! The staff loves to help you with everything, places to visit, bar`s to go out and restaurants to get a good dinner.

One of the top hostels I have stayed in during 6 months of travel!

It is actually one of the best hostels I have been so far and it is pretty close to the train station, for those guys arriving from Moscow e.g..

Anja and the other staffs were very friendly. They tried to help us when we need. They were the best staff who i have ever seen. Taha Tuzuner.

The hostel is excellent!!!! great atmosphere, quite clean, in general staff service is good except one girl at the reception who was really obnoxious.

Very helpful staff! helped me to find the best way to take advantage of the short time in St Pettersburg. I think the tips to reach the hostel could be improved. Clean place! Liked the size of it. Offered free calls but every destination was available.
