Sound Hostel Reviews

Our stay was lovely but the hostel was empty. There were only two other people so the atmosphere wasnt amazing. Also the receptionist was never there. He gave us a key to the front door and to our rooms then left. I think I saw him twice during my 3 night stay. It is a great place to stay if you want to see Gdansk. Super close to Old Town, right on the river, a short walk to a tram stop. But if you are young and want to go out then it is a 20min cab ride away from any good clubs.

The hostel wasn't clean. Sand all over the place and in our room there was a leak. Almost all of the ''lockers'' were broken and the key to my locker could fit in all of the lockers in our room, so not so safe. And as a woman I would really have appreciated if I had found even one mirror in the hostel. There was one really small one in the toilet, but I could only see my nose from that. I could stay in the hostel again if I had to... It's not the worst place to stay in. I liked the common room.

We stayed there while we were attending Opener'er Festival 2012. Clean, safe and located in the heart of gdansk old town. Brilliant value for money and the staff help us out all the time. Always let us in at silly o clock in the morning. Very quite and peaceful.
