South Beach Hostel is on the main avenue of the Art Deco district of South Beach, just five minutes' walk from the beach. The hostel is surrounded by bars, clubs and restaurants and has an onsite bar which stays open until 5am. Hostelworld guests have told us 'if you want to party this is the place to go'. Many travellers say this hostel offers good value for money, with one guest saying 'the location of this hostel for the price cannot be beat'.

We’re the only boutique hostel on South Beach – voted the Most Improved Hostel at the 2009 Hostelworld.com Hoscars!
We offer hostel dorm beds as well as private rooms at the lowest price. Our rooms feature bunk beds, secure key cards, in-room lockers and free linen and towels.
Our hostel has tons of free facilities, including free breakfast, free Wi-Fi in the lobby and free use of our iron, ironing board, hair dryer and hair straightener!
We also have a pool table, internet cafe, movie theatre, pay phones, an outdoor terraced patio and great weekly events. Guests can use our self-catering kitchen, laundry room and bicycle rental for $20, including helmet and lock.
We have a large hostel lounge with a full liquor bar where you can meet other travellers – and it’s open until 5am!
The friendly and knowledgeable multi-lingual staff are on-hand 24hrs a day to ensure that you have a great time while making you feel right at home. We can provide you with information on Miami tours, Everglades tours, and trips to Key West, Fort Lauderdale, and other local attractions. Parking permits are available to rent for $15 per day, subject to availability.
We offer the best value on Miami Beach. We’re located in the heart of the famous Art Deco district, just steps from the beach, shopping, restaurants, and clubs. In fact, we’re the southernmost hostel on South Beach, just two blocks from the beach itself.
Along with our secure key cards there are security cameras around the premises.
We offer free transportation to Miami International Airport twice daily, at 9:30am and 2:30 pm. Maximum two carry-on size bags per guest. The shuttle operates one way only, from the hostel to Miami International Airport. We do not have a pick-up service. This must be booked at the front desk 24 hours in advance. This offer is for a limited time only; the free shuttle service may be discontinued at any time without any type of compensation.
Please note that we do not accept guests under the age of 18.

What makes us special is the extras we offer. Our free continental breakfast features all-you-can-eat fresh toasted bagels (delivered daily), orange juice, coffee and fruit. Our full bar is open from 6pm to 5am, with happy hour specials featuring Budweiser and Bud Light at $1.50 from 6pm to 8pm. Plus our pool and poker tournaments! We've also got 14 hours of housekeeping going on every single day.

We're just two minutes' walk from the ocean, five minutes' walk from the clubs and shopping stores and 15 minutes by bus from downtown Miami and Bayside Marketplace - the local bus and Airport Flyer Bus stop just steps from our door. Personally I love South Point Park and Marinas, where there is an awesome bar for locals that offers a half-price raw bar-oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp, crab claws, clams...on my God I'm so going this weekend!- Flor, General Manager

Latest Review
I reported that the showers did not have hot water the 4 days I was there, I was always told it would be looked at, but the hot water never worked. Other than that, it was pretty good. I still prefer Jazz on the Beach Hostel, one block away.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 2 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
Check -in: 2pm.
Check-out: by 12 noon.
Late check-outs will be charged an additional $20 fee to their credit card, with no exceptions.
We have a 48hr cancellation policy. Cancellations must be made by email only. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night’s accommodation.
During special events and holidays there is a 72hr cancellation policy.
Please note that rates do not include local taxes of 13%. This shall be added to your balance upon arrival. Please consider this in your budget calculations.
Maximum stay 21 days.
Please note that we do not accept guests under the age of 18.
If you book more than one person into a dorm room, we cannot guarantee that you will be placed in the same room together.
Credit card required. We do not provide cash refunds, only by credit card.
