Lots of people in hostel to club and party. Lobby was a night club when we go there. Stumbling and making out abound if that's your thing go for it!

The music was very loud all day and night, even in the morning. Why?

I've stayed in many a hostels in the past and this was average. It was in a good location in Miami, not too far from the beach. The staff were OK - although i didn't interact with them much. There was a decent kitchen, laundry and tv room. It is however, very basic and I didn't much like the shared bathroom with the constant blocked toilet. The hallway echoed alot, so you could hear all conversations and footsteps from bed. All round an average hostel that did the job

I stay here almost every winter. It's still a reasonable place to stay, but it has become somewhat less enjoyable, as the Spanish-speaking staff attracts a substantially Spanish-speaking crowd. If I were a Spanish-speaker I would find that an advantage. But since I'm not, for example it becomes far less enjoyable to hang out at the hostel bar when the only language spoken there is Spanish. I noticed many non-Spanish guests are hanging out elsewhere, even at lounges/bars of other hostels.

The kitchen lacks a stove/cook top so you're limited to a microwave or convection oven. The Wifi works in the lobby but you probably won't have much luck in the rooms. There's a nice hot food bar and grocery at 6th and Meridan, a few blocks away. And don't miss the South Pointe Park at the end of Washington, just a few blocks south.

I stayed in a private room and it was perfect for my needs – spacious, clean and plenty of secure storage. It would have been nice to have more restroom facilities (only one urinal and one stall per floor), although there are extra facilities in the reception area. I was in Miami for the marathon so didn't really have a chance to get involved in a night out, but it certainly seemed lively enough! The staff were fantastic – efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I would happily stay here again

I had a bad experience when we checked in and end up having to pay more. And one night had nowhere to stay. Then one day they wanted to spray for pest in the middle of the evening before bed. No one tried to fix the problem, basically told me to either deal with it or go some Where else !!! Bad customer service

The only positive aspect of this place is the location. Otherwise I recommend you STAY AWAY! We booked a four girls dorm and it was probably the tiniest room I've ever seen! No way you can fit four people in there. It truly felt like being in a cell. The photos they show are taken from angles that make it look better than reality. They had only two computers both out of order during our three days stay. The staff is clueless about to do in the area. You can certainly find better value for money

A typical big city 'Turn & Burn' Hostel very much focused on filling Beds & not much interested on the comfort or experience of Travelers...But this is typical of City Hostels thus the Average Rating! I would stay there again for the price, but have no interest in returning to South Beach Area!!

I spent 2 weeks in South Beach and stayed in 3 hostels. South Beach is good. I liked the location: 5 min walk to the beach. 15 min walk to the heart of south beach (that's my own term!). What i didnt like too much was the bathrooms 1 per floor (seriously?). So 1 toilet and 3 showers for all the men on the floor. not sure how many men we were though. The kitchen is not a full one. For all this time, I had to cook! Finally, the lobby is small. Most of the time, we were standing outside.

It's not the best or the fanciest but it`s a bed to sleep on. The staff is warm, welcoming, inviting and helpful. It is what you make it!

Linen and towels were dirty even after change. Matresses were dirty and extremely old and uncofortable as well.

The place is undergoing some remodeling, which should be nice when it's done. The staff was helpful in offering advice about the surrounding area. The bed was really uncomfortable.

Just an average hostel, but good value for the money you pay. Small rooms, but I was only there to sleep, there is so much to do in South Beach, and this is one of the best locations.
