For the price, this hostel was not worth the value for money. Close enough to the beach, but a 25min walk from town and unhelpful staff- not much English and bad instructions for the bus service. Lockers were tiny outside the rooms, for the showers there were only curtains, no proper cubicles. The hostel is 30metres from supermarkets, but it's in an industrial area so the whole hostel has a bad smell. Wouldn't stay again.
It was quite a trek to the town center. Although it wasn't far from the beach it still was not an ideal location. My Spanish is in the learning stages and nobody spoke English when we were there, so it was impossible to even book a kite surfing lesson. The staff were always friendly thou. The cleanliness of the bedrooms where also average; the mattresses could definitely use a good wipe down, as they were plastic anyways.
The man working at the front desk checked us in around 1am. Very helpful. He lined up our ferry for us to Morocco. He went above and beyond. A great experience. Friendly, courteous and informative.
